I want Levy to do the right thing more than I want the bloke gone.

Right now it's just bizarre, because he is usually decisive one way or the other, and next to nobody would be criticising him for dismissing Postecoglou.

What that might mean for any so called project is completely secondary at this point.

To have not sacked Postecoglou months ago was already out of character for Levy.

To have not recognised the danger of our depleted squad and not brought in reinforcements in January - that's the single most baffling thing I've ever seen in Levy's time here. He's not protecting the asset. It's gobsmacking. Like he's checked out.

The fact that they must believe this oil tanker will miraculously turn around 180 degrees when Romero and VDV return shows that there is not one competent football person on the board.

Manager has to change and players have to come in today.

Agree 100%. It's bonkers and completely out of character.

If you take away the first 5 minutes of the second half we win that game 1-0 . You can’t blame Ange for the players doing that!

I was in the same boat but fuck that,he’s got to go. We are totally fucked and right now we might be able to persuade a decent manager to come in just now because of our cups situation and the fact that anything they’ll do is an improvement. Wait two weeks and no cunt will touch this job until the summer. If he sacks him and puts Mason in then I’m not wasting money travelling all over the place watching him be our manager. We are better than this. Much better than this but Ange, the owners and injuries have made us so much worse than anything I could have imagined at Tottenham.
44 years of being a Tottenham supporter and I’ve never seen it worse. The 90s was shit but we won a cup and had real top top players. Now we have fantastic young players with no top players to help them. We have a mid table squad at best just now.

Anybody that can honestly say that Ange should keep his job is not Tottenham.
Agreed

If you’re Ange-in now, you’re not a Spurs fan

Fair play to AberdeenYid. Logic prevailed !!!

Are there any Ange In people left?
I think folks are less "Ange in" and more "let's address the real problem." That's certainly my perspective, I want the club signing quality players, not potential with a resale value. Sacking Ange let's Levy off the hook again. His tenure at the top has not been good enough on the pitch. With Conte and Jose we've proved it doenst matter who the manager is. Levy is the man who picked Ange, the buck has to stop with the man in charge. Whether Ange stays or goes makes little difference, this has been on the cards for year's; Poch, Jose and Conte all told us so.

How true it is I need to check, but I've just seen what's supposedly a stat from the Deloitte report in to premier league finances showing our player wage v revenue ratio is the lowest in the league. Meanwhile our director renuneration is the highest. That, if true says a lot. Levy has done a great job off the pitch, but for footballing success, he is as bad as Anges reign.

I'm starting to warm to the idea of relegation...

Wouldn't half sort the wheat from the Chaff!!

Levy would run a MILE from the Championship... fuck all money to be made there..
...as would the half and half scarf brigade!
What would the attraction be coming to watch Spurs v Bristol City??

If they ain't heard of it, they don't wanna know!!

Bring on WATFORD!

He's toast. I don't really think it is all Ange's fault but the reality of the situation is we have lost two games of football this week to Everton & Leicester.

Very poor, we need something different just to avoid getting relegated because that is the way it's going. If we can't get points against these two what chance do we have against the rest.

He's not and neither have the other managers been "Dud" managers.

They've been in a role with extreme expectations with seriously hamstrung conditions.

Levy and co have bled this club dry. The game has changed a lot over the past 20 years and the initial approach from Enic / Levy is clearly not capable of the acceptable / bare minimum requirements it was at one point.

Nottingham Forest, battling sith FFP and relegation last year being willing to spend 65 million on top players this window at the first chance they've got should be deathing to Spurs fans of what it really takes to be a competitive, ambitious club in this league.

Only spending when in absolute dire needs has brought on the demise of this club. Never attempted to push onto the next level. Just rinse the fans / PL money for every penny.
Oh he’s a dud alright. I thought he was at the end of last season when we had a full team out against Fulham, Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool and put on some of the worst displays in decades. But of course you have to keep some faith.

Like I say, up until last week I’d still like to have kept him to the summer just to solve this insufferable split in our fanbase and give him his players back and settle this Ange debate once and for all. But now? - is there even a debate left to settle? plus we’re in complete and utter freefall and something has to give.

Yeah 40% wages to turnover, Levy is the highest paid chairman.
