If I were him I’d want a loan. The other Bayern attackers are hardly spring chickens in football terms. He could easily come to England play some football and see where the land lies in the summer. I certainly wouldn’t be rushing to sign for us or Man Utd that’s for sure and if his agent is thinking of the player rather than his fee, that’s what he is telling him too.
But if he want to stay at Bayern and only wants to go out on loan because he want (much) more playing time. then instead of joining arguably the best league in the world where it will be hard to get guaranteed playing time right away (unless he joins Soton), it would be better if he simply joined another (non-contender) Bundesliga club...

IF he is waiting to make a decision, it will be because he's hoping Chelsea or Woolwich match the offer.
You really think players look at Woolwich and think "yeah i want a piece of this set piece club"
I get we are 15th but surely from a purely football perspective why the fuck would anyone want to go to the Common day Stoke FC and sepnd all of their training sessions working on corners and set pieces?

At most Bundesliga clubs he'd be their highest paid player or one of the highest paid players, if Bayern want to move him off the wage bill this season only the likes of Dortmund or Leipzig would have a chance, and I've no idea how they're positioned to pay those wages.

It just goes to show how we can buy any player we want to, it Levy holding us back. We are never linked to top players when they become available.

But when theres a Dibling, Tel or other youngster, they are all over it. All over it after other hipster youngster clubs have their quotas full that is (Chelsea, Dortmund, Leipzig, Brighton etc...)

Weve basically turned into a poundland hipster club.
Tel and Dibling are Poundland?

Trix on SC says, nice way of saying nothing at all really

All was looking good as of last night, and the club are hoping to tie things up today. Other clubs not offering the same terms as us, which Bayern favour.

I could add more but it's too early, and there is interest from elsewhere so things could still change. Whilst that is still the case it's not worth going into specifics. What the players and agents say to us is not always what they are thinking or doing behind closed doors.

Maybe its the younger generation of united fans, still I wonder how long they can keep dining out on Fergies legacy at the club?
Liverpool were in a title race every year according to the media. They could finish mid table the year before and be dogshit.
United and Liverpool, IMO, will always be kept relevant by the media. Too many fans and too much opportunity to exploit them.
