Tel on a short term deal will have to do, beggars can't be choosers.
Guehi reeks of Levy running around Europe with his imaginary wheelbarrow of cash all over again.
Bailey, a bit meh, another one not good enough and bet his numbers are nowhere near those of Johnson and most think he is not good enough. He might be a bit different but if he was good enough Villa wouldn't entertain it.

No this is risible. Angeball has very definite characteristics stop behaving like a cultist. I was desperate for him to be a success by refinning and changing the bits that are massively flawed. On the occasions he has delighted but he is incredibly wedded to some of the facets and we just go backwards when he has the opportunity to grow. That's why I lost faith in him as a coach even though when I met him I really liked him.
Of course you liked him.

He's Ange.

He's hungry and wants to eat!

(Did we get an answer to why the players are saying this recently?)

Can I wriggle out of my humble pie as reports are now that Ange got it done not Levy

Actually I can’t as my argument was we were never serious about signing him and Levy was playing us . So even if Ange got it over the line the deal was there to be done,I was adamant it wasn’t .

Fucking hate the taste of humble pie

Thing is i agree to some extent but if he pulls up trees we basically did bayern a favor and he will probs cost more then we bidded earlier

If he helps us win trophies it's a good deal
I know.

But if he pulls up trees for three months, at least we got three months of him pulling up trees. I want us to go for good players. I appreciate that it’s not ideal, but it’s much better that compromising for someone we’re less keen on and offering them a permanent deal.

We also don’t know which manager we’ll have next year. He’s obviously getting the rest of this season, but a loan like this can offer us flexibility should we change.

Has the Tel confirmation by Fabizio Romano been posted? I don’t see any discussion about it. Looks like it’s been agreed he will come on loan with no buy obligation. We will pay full salary.

Because why would you leave your best CF (pending Solanke's return) out of your squad for the most important/winnable comp?

By the time we next play in Europe Solanke is (roughly) projected to be back.

Tel is mostly a wide forward.

He's played just as many senior games at CF as he has LW.

Obviously I wasn't suggesting Dane as 1st choice, FFS.

Point is Richy is never more than a few appearances from injury...... We can't depend on him at the overall expense of an EL squad which is a lot leaner than what we can register for domestic games.
