I agree , it would seem an obvious thing , but really I'm not convinced , I watch so many of these players leave their hearts in the dressing room .
I'm not absolving the manager of anything but players still need to have pride in their own game and many simply show on a regular basis a lack of resolve .
I hope I'm wrong but been watching this episode so many times now .
That was every single Spurs semi final and final of recent years distilled into a concentrated jus of 100% cowardice.
I've made a few semi finals in my day Sunday league and you raise your fucking game, you give everything. Every 50/50 is a cup final.
And I was never great at football and I didn't play for great sides but we gave everything. And when we couldn't win we sure as shit let the other team know they were in a game and took no prisoners.
These boys are professionals and they didn't even lay a glove on Liverpool tonight. Not a glove. Everyone knows we are Spursy and this is our club but they must have been shocked with how easy that was.
Did we put a single tackle in or win a single 50/50?
I can't really blame the young boys but it was the seasoned pro's having absolute stinkers tonight. The likes of Son, Bents, Biss, Davies, Kulu. None of them turned up at all.
TBH we aren't getting relegated and we have no realistic hope in the cups. Lets just fuck the senior pro's off out of it and play 100% kids for the rest of the season. Bring them all in.

Keep telling myself again and again, year after year, to give up this drug. I didn’t go today but I am going on Sunday. Was stupidly hoping for glory tonight. Decent food and drink lined up for a family evening to enjoy the game. Everyone wondering what the bloody point of it all was. Not even the slightest hint of a fight.
Some are happy with mediocre. They happy with an entertaining game, even when the entertainment is the ball hitting the back of our net.
Some don't use their brain at all. I had someone slag me for posting that Ange needs to play a No6 who can marshall the MF. His argument....."But we don't have such a player". I guess he believe because we don't have a 'Real No6', we need to leave the role vacant.
Unbelievable negligence if true. If Levy and the board can't see the deficiencies in Ange's coaching there is absolutely nothing that will save us from their ineptitude.

Totally agree mate. But the minute he said the squad needed investment and dared out that bald pricks cheap tactics he was always going to get chopped!!
He plays Spence out of position too. Gray as well. Sometimes Son also. Ange fits players into his system instead of adjusting the system to suit the players best. Hence we are in this current position we are in

The sad reality is that our goals have dried up since Solanke got injured. The players are clearly not playing for Ange, particularly our senior players, which include the likes of Bentancur, Kulu and Biss based on their performances.
Although, Ange's tactics are suicidal, especially in the second half as our players are exhausted from meaningless inefficient pressing.
Conceding 2-3 goals is simply going to be a common occurrence under Ange, to until he gets sacked.

I was born, raised and live in Minnesota. The Minnesota Vikings are the NFL version of Tottenham Hotspur. Underachieve, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, best stadium in the league, etc. The one thing they do have are fan-boy owners who will do and spend whatever is required to try and win.

The new manager cannot install guts and character into the majority these players. Just look at the midfield 3, unfortunately Bissouma, Bentancur and Sarr are very bad

Ange is a Parasite that sides with the Leech Levy. Its never too late for someone else.
FWIW : I don’t think we did THAT badly tonight; especially the first half .
Overall; we were beaten by a better team; and much as it hurts me to say it LFC have got a slick little operation going on ; I can actually see them winning the Q4 .
Ange’s bravado about ALWAYS winning a trophy in his second season obviously works in the leagues he’s worked in before; but , frankly right now he’s getting schooled .
I saw stuff tonight that gave me hope for the future ( if we get there ) ; but right now it’s probably time to swallow a bit of pride ; learn what we can and then God willing: emerge better .
If the penny doesn’t drop ; we’re back where we were and Ange is off to
Olympiakos. Where he’s sure to get a suntan , lie on a yacht and
win something in his second season. Meanwhile back in the real world….
