Very strange. The quote was pretty damning. Pretty much directly called out Levy and the board.

Hard to believe only that could keep him completely off the pitch, but it's possible. All of this has me wondering if these media reports of entering contract talks with him is just a ruse to alert the broader market of his availability.
 
I think Romero is a fantastic player, but I do accept that he has underperformed for us, had too much time out injured, and seems more focused on his country than his club.

I just find it difficult to write players off based on this season though. It’s been a shit show playing a stupid high line system that doesn’t suit anybody and training without any proper coaching. I think many of our underperforming players could turn things around if they were in systems that focused on their strengths and if above all they trained with a competent coach.
 
Watch this complete waste declare himself fit once we are free from the threat of relegation, and put on a few performances for his suitors.
