It goes back to a similar scenario Silva faced when questioned before Fulham’s game with them where all the questions were framed around Man Utd being shit rather than Fulham having a good season.
Don’t ever underestimate Levy’s incompetence though!
The first half wasn’t so bad, we had decent possession and controlled the game for the most part - with a couple of the usual shonky moments defensively - the second was just a fucking mess, two teams struggling for confidence and energy, both short of quality.
The hardest thing to watch was the constant piss-bumbling away of several really good attacking situations by our fucking atrocious forwards.
That game was screaming for Oddobert and/or Moore to come on for the ineffective Son and Kulusevski, give us some threat in behind (and in front). And for Bissouma to replace the ploddy plodderson.
Even if we give Ange the benefit of the doubt re protecting Maddison coming back from injury, the decision to take both 8’s off at the same time, and not only leave Son and kulusevski on the pitch, but move another plodder in Kulusevski back into a midfield that was already plodder heavy with Bentancur blowing hard in it, was fucking nuts idea.
To do that whilst simultaneously weakening the right even more by putting Johnson on there (instead of Moore/Oddobert) was just adding another layer of incompetence to the clusterfuck cake Ange made of the game management.

Yeah, if only to get some relief from watching Son, Kulusevski or Johnson go through their bumble repertoire. Truth is, Oddobert is still a pretty raw kid, so I’m not expecting loads from him either, in terms of product.

Ange will stay as long as EL is in play. If Spurs go out he goes out. I think this has always been the case. Winning EL solves so many short term problems and also emotional trophy less supporter issues. Not winning it is a disaster in full display.
Spurs have no reason or at least excuse that they should not win it. They have always been very close to favorite to win it for a reason. Add to that reason a chance to fully concentrate on it.
Finals are funny things and a lot of times require a little luck so who knows. However there is not one excuse that games played over two legs should not see Spurs progress.
It's nearly two years for Ange and the EL is now or never. Last chance Saloon has been reached.
