Some players played very well, Gray, danso once he grew into the game. Spence, bergvall, son showed flashes of brilliance. Udogie had a decent game. I think bergvall is really growing.
Then some I thought were awful, tel, bentancur, kulusevski even though he scored, Johnson even though he scored.
Our midfield is such a worry it's untrue, we never seem to have control at any point when we don't have the ball, they just get totally bypassed, there's no protection for the back line. We still don't seem to have any patterns of play, we're not really playing out and beating a press anymore, our own press is all over the place. We were clinical today, and we created some good chances, but we rode our luck defensively, especially that first half hour our 2 goals were totally against the run of play. Delap is a fucking beast, he's exactly what we want leading the line, especially if solanke isn't in the team.
What was nice was to be able to bring on some fucking established players though when needed.

I was with my cousin and a couple of friends today and we had a lovely day. One friend said "what a brilliant day", that was about 4.30pm, I said, "I'll let you know in half an hour" ...................... and it did turn out to be so.
