I can't stand seeing this narrative about Spurs having spent big money too - ITS THE FUCKING WAGE BILL where the real money is!
Kids with sell on value are exactly the thing a top team doesn't do as their top priority.
The wool has been thoroughly pulled over a lot of fans eyes, its baffling.

Some real talk here.

Last year it was a miracle we got 5th.

This year Ange has performed miracles keeping us in the division with our smallest ever squad on the least money for years.

Wage bill is King!!

Ask yourself where’s the real value.
Ndombele’s £200k a week. Or Bergvall on £2Ok a week and a bag of Maoam sours.

Or Haaland and Debruyne on £500k a week.

We know where the real playaz hang out. Clue. It’s not hotspur way.

Vicario probably doesn't watch Ange's press conferences.

He's probably talking about internal conversations. Tbh the communication we get from the club is very likely a completely different world to internal communication inside the club.
You say that as if players exist in some secret society, blissfully unaware of the outside world, it’s 2025 Rich that’s not how it works anymore.

Let’s be real—footballers aren’t living in media-proof bubbles. They have Sky Sports News playing in the cafeteria, they scroll through their phones like the rest of us, and during the documentary, we literally saw them watching press conferences on their lunch break ffs lol.

The media have been highlighting Ange’s injury excuses for months now, the idea that Vicario—or any player—is oblivious to what Ange has been saying publicly is wishful thinking at best.

Ange may not talk about this directly to the players (I get the impression he rarely talks to them about anything quite frankly) but trust me, they see it, they hear it and they are aware of it, regardless of what happens internally.

I’m glad people are seeing this is not an Ange problem. This is a Tottenham Hotspur problem.

Or specifically a Daniel Levy problem.

Levy is the original Kaiser Soze. Blagging everyone and everything.

Our form overall is undeniably an Ange problem, worst manager I have ever seen at this club quite frankly, but the deeper rot—the decision to hire this buffoon—is a Levy problem.

Levy is the cause; Ange is just a symptom.

It’s a win win situation tonight.

A win takes us into the quarter finals

A deafest means we have not got to put up
With a complete amateur who has taken the Peter principle to a whole new level

I can’t get my head around the squad we started this season with.

Who signs off on this? Penny pinching? I can’t even call it naivety as we have been in the premier league since day 1. We should know exactly how many senior players we need.

Instead go into Europe with 4 goalkeepers in the 25 man squad. And then we buy another one!!! Madness.

Sure but I also know what it's like living outside your home country. Vic probably doesn't watch English TV and I doubt Sky italia cover Postecoglou press conferences.

British players like Maddison, Gray and Davies will more likely watch the stuff Skysports news churn out about this club and read into narratives etc. Maddison we know tunes in because he has responded to it several times. Vicario? I doubt it.

It’s Ange’s fault we’re 13th and struggling to get past AZ Alkmaar. It’s levy’s fault we aren’t competing for top titles.

Poch’s fault, Mourinhos fault. Nuno’s fault. Contes fault. Now Ange’s turn.

You’re all on a roundabout. Occasionally it stops to kick off a manager and let a new one on.

After a while everyone will get angry with the next manager and want the roundabout stopped again.

And repeat.

At some point I hope a manager won’t have to play Son and Ben Davies is freed as well.
Guess we can keep Reguillon. Why is he here????

Because he's shit and everyone has eyes.

The glass ceiling of 4th to 7th is on Levy. The never doing enough in the transfer market is on Levy. The utter incompetence of the last 12 months is on this manager. We havent been this bad for over 20 years and thats on him.

The first choice team gained only one new playing this summer, whilst we let other senior players leave. This is on Levy too, but the best 10 players stayed.

That the players that finished 5th last year and gained a better striker and we are worse is entirely on Ange, because he has no tactical nous and our strategy is known. Every game we concede chances and goals where Porro should be, whilst not gaining anything from inverted fullbacks.

Hopefully not much longer, but if he's here tomorrow it's hopefully because we won tonight. Which is the main thing right now, staying in this competition.

Vicario strikes me as an intelligent, well-rounded guy with a strong grasp of English—hardly someone reliant on Sky Italia to keep up with what’s happening around him.

And let’s be real, the media may push narratives, but Ange’s fixation on injuries wasn’t one of them. He’s the one who kept bringing it up to defend the poor form, so the constant questioning is a problem of his own making.

Now that ‘no more excuses’ is the prevailing message from the media, he’s bristling—though, to be fair, he bristles at anything remotely challenging his competency as a manager so are we really surprised?

Like I said, he’s insecure hence why he lashes out and quite frankly it’s made him completely unlikeable to people who are well aware of the self-preservation tactics he is constantly deploying.

With injuries no longer a convenient scapegoat, he’s shifted the blame to the supporters instead. But let’s not pretend that after months of headlines dissecting his injury complaints, Vicario remains blissfully unaware. That’s just wishful thinking mate imo.

Difference is that every other manager on the roundabout achieved much more than 1.04 points per game in the league.

Like Nuno was really shit.
Yep. We can 100% trust the eyes of this crowd.

Cataract ridden bastards!!
Nuno tried to play his nonsense without the right pieces, as with many managers over the last 6 years.

He was poor for us, but likewise the players hardly busted their arses off. Look at Forest now, there's no question their players are trying harder. And not crying when the chips are down.
