He’s under immense pressure and it’s pretty obvious to anyone his “I don’t care” routine is a big lie.
I feel sorry for him at this point. He might be an overpaid premier league manager. And Australian.
But he’s still a human being.
Lucky the big boss is a lot more hands off these days I guess.
He’s got a long month ahead of him. Needs to go and get a health check up.

Starting to think parting ways would be as beneficial for Ange as it would be for us. Bloke is clearly unhappy, and very much out of his depth.
And we’re unhappy because he’s shite and the season is shite.
Get fucking rid, ffs.
I am in Perth, WA yes. But I grew up going to the Lane with my old man, I spent a good 25 years going there before emigrating. That’s bollocks , peak United fans would still sooner lose than Liverpool win the league if they were not in contention , it works vice versa . Look how Chelsea fans were when we were hunting Leicester down , desperate to beat us , much less desperate to beat Leicester .
Don’t think for a split second Woolwich fans wouldn’t roll over to deny us the title either .
I am assuming you are Perth Australia rather than Scotland , because if you were Scottish with Rangers / Celtic you would definitely get it.
Should we stick with Ange or not? I'd like a gauge of your bias.I am in Perth, WA yes. But I grew up going to the Lane with my old man, I spent a good 25 years going there before emigrating.
I'm pretty sure Sir Alex wouldn't have wanted his United team to roll over and lose just to prevent a rival winning trophy.
Winning is a mentality that takes precedence over everything else. You look at all the top teams, top players in any sport. None of them would accept losing under any circumstances, because it's in their DNA.
But some fans don't want to win certain games for what reason? Because they can't face the Woolwich fan in their office? Because they can't face seeing a rival team celebrating in the paper?
We're either a team that wins regardless, because it's our culture. Or we're also rans that throws games to stop other teams winning. I know which team I'd rather support...
These things aren't mutually exclusive. If we win regardless you don't have to worry about being a team that stops other teams... on the flip side... I can finish 14th with 46 points and help a bitter rival win the league or 14th with 43 points and stop that rival.I am in Perth, WA yes. His entire tenure has been built on magical thinking. The Robbie Williams song bellowing we'll play the way we want to. The hiding behind the revival after the injuries mysteriously stop. The apologists on here saying the football would click and blow everyone away. It's ALL magic. Now reality has rudely interrupted the shared delusion. I think Ange Postecoglou is drowning because he was always promoted beyond any rational logic. His brittleness is fear and anxiety manifest. He can't cope and it's cringe to watch him flailing.Starting to think parting ways would be as beneficial for Ange as it would be for us. Bloke is clearly unhappy, and very much out of his depth.

I am not saying Ferguson would , but we are talking fans . Ferguson would not have called United fans out for it , he would have understood their motivation, at least that is my opinion .I am in Perth, WA yes. Honestly I'm just astonished at how this situation has panned out, nothing seems to make any sense right now. You know that feeling you and most other fans seem to get in unison when a manager is about to be sacked....this one especially post game is it, yet something strange is going on it seems here.Come on, Daniel. You won't get a better time to pull the trigger. A few weeks now for a fresh start and some belief before the QFs.
We were very much in contention for a champions league place. That’s bollocks , peak United fans would still sooner lose than Liverpool win the league if they were not in contention , it works vice versa . Look how Chelsea fans were when we were hunting Leicester down , desperate to beat us , much less desperate to beat Leicester .

No way mate! I've been Ange out for quite a while now. I wish it had worked, not because he's Australian, but because it was a breath of fresh air to begin with.Should we stick with Ange or not? I'd like a gauge of your bias.
I'm not the one who only deals in absolute scenarios like "it has to be this or that"
I still think it's a backwards mentality. These things aren't mutually exclusive. If we win regardless you don't have to worry about being a team that stops other teams... on the flip side... I can finish 14th with 46 points and help a bitter rival win the league or 14th with 43 points and stop that rival.![]()
what is your opinion of him now as a manager btw? i know you want him gone but how do you rate his managerial 'skills' now?I’m not as convinced it will be as good for us as it will be for him.
Unless something changes in the boardroom, we are stuck being ENIC Hotspurs. Whereas he can leave and get back to being himself and enjoying his life.
The old “if he had amazing players he’d have a good team” argument !I definitely feel for him.
But the way he spoke after the game tells me that he should probably step down.
He’s now saying it out loud that some of these players aren’t good enough to play the way he wants to consistently at this level…
He’s right but he’s also the one who chose to play this way and it looks like he’s lost belief in ever getting them to play this way consistently.
Totally agree. It was already weird several months ago.Honestly I'm just astonished at how this situation has panned out, nothing seems to make any sense right now. You know that feeling you and most other fans seem to get in unison when a manager is about to be sacked....this one especially post game is it, yet something strange is going on it seems here.
Practically 95% of the fanbase are unanimous in our feelings that he needs to be sacked with immediate effect, yet this ordeal is being dragged out for no sensible logical rhyme or reason.
I would always 100pc want us to win every game And did against CityI still think it's a backwards mentality.
Just to play devils advocate, it's the last game of the season, we beat Liverpool and we're guaranteed Champions league the following season....but Woolwich win the league.
Lose and we're playing 2nd tier European football, but Liverpool pip Woolwich to the title......which way do our fans want it to go?
