Yes, under normal circumstances I'd agree. Highly unlikely scenario to be fair, even for us! But doubt Tel was in any way the 'designated' pen taker. Just would have been a good gesture to give it to the guy regardless.

Not that I give that much of a shit. Not a BJ fan and the match was a glorified training exercise.

Not a lot to say about that 2nd half but older supporters will remember that was what it was like when we had a big Cup match coming up. We won, most got some rest, No obvious injuries, job done.

On his day maddison a good player. But I want players who can do it every week if we are successful. Eze need to sign in summer. Ederson and lookman from atalanta. I dont rate solanke at all. Ok but Tottenham standards are better than just ok.

I had to miss the first half, but I didn't see anything of him in the second. Have to say, though, one good game against the worst team in PL history doesn't make up for his pathetic display for the past 18 months. Fair-weather player. Fuck him off.
 
Southampton are gash, can't believe there were actual grown people who believed they'd beat us today...mind you they were the same people who thought that we'd get relegated when we were stuck on 24 points for like 3 months which is funny because none of the bottom three have 24 points yet even now lol
