Some would have you believe that the fans would have drummed Nuno out even as he led us into the CL places, were our fortunes reversed this year.

I don't think anyone would care about defensive subs at halftime or anything else if we were sailing to CL next year. If anything we'd be admiring the shithousery/confidence of his doing it in front of the chairman who sacked him.

Entertaining losing football is a contradiction in terms. There is nothing entertaining about losing in macro

Ultimately, it's a gamble on how likely he is to fulfill his promise. I'm not necessarily opposed to him but I'm not really excited by him either based on what I've seen thus far. I just think that there's a certain amount of extra shine he has on him by being a one-time Bayern wonderkid. Bergvall has had a lot more time to get settled, but you could see the quality in him from the start that we haven't really seen in Tel yet.

He is not a £50m player for sure.
 
This is a timely reminder that other teams are better organised, better coached, play to their strengths better and that our players are all a bunch of melts.
