Match Tottenham vs Forest Monday 21 April 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

They may be cloggers but they are well coached & organized cloggers. Nuno has done an amazing job with very little.
They are playing with one of the smallest playing staffs in the league, very few injuries, no European drain on the legs. And absolutley zero expectation that they would be doing what they are doing.

They will be mid table next season, nailed on.

The league is just very, very low quality this season. Being organised and carrying a basic counter attacking package with a high work rate is enough.

We had 22 shots, 2.14 XG, 45 touches in their box, they cleared one of the line. I don't know how many crosses we put in.
They could have easily shanked at least two clearances into their own net.

They got lucky. There were plenty of positives to take from that game.

I abuse the team and manager on here when they don't put any effort in and play absymally (which has been a lot this season) But I can also see when we play well and take the positives.
The XG was better and we had more shots, touches in the box yada yada yada, 2-1 loss at home, yet again, 8th of the season.
Certain agenda driven people on here are so blinded by the agenda they don't see anything else.
What blinds me is being 16th in the league after 18 losses and having nothing to play for in April because of a fraud who should never have been appointed in the first place. I also made a point about you claiming Solanke had to be protected lest we be forced to start Richarlison you've decided not to respond to but hey ho, you cling on to the fact they could have easily shanked at least 2 clearances into their own whilst being 20 odd points clear and in 3rd.

Yes we had 3 cB’s for the last 10 mins not the whole 2nd half and did not defend so deep. Even in Mourinho’s time we never defended like that. Bet Liverpool will not sit back if 2 goals up.

But Liverpool are just ; top to bottom, better than us . Which is why they’ll win the Prem and we’ll be lucky to finish 15th .

It shouldn’t be that way . But for some reason / reasons it just is .

You’ve got to admit that tonight was just so ( and I’m struggling for the correct / polite word here …. ) ; WEAK ?

Hey, Airfixx Airfixx

18 league defeats and 5th from bottom. You still got Levy's back, mate?
Still backing the manager he appointed?
Not calling out anyone in particular (it’s not fair and we all have opinions right or wrong) but this has been an abysmally bad season with a manager who really doesn’t seem to know how to manage in a league this size.
He has to go asap. It’s been over for a long time.

What’s starting to get my goat is that I’m getting used to losing now and the defeats have stopped hurting. 18 defeats, 8 at home (our worst in PL history) and I’m just numb to it. I’ll go to the semi final but the league games are pointless to attend. The players have given up in those.

Hard to tell: we played some nice - but ineffective - football. However, we do need to put into perspective that Forest didn’t bother to attack after twenty minutes. It’s hard to judge how much of that is down to us, how much is their choice. I would say, tho, that once Richy scored, the game moved and was played more in our half and was managed by Forest. So, we looked better, but I think Forest flatters is by sitting off.

Nice , ineffective football: only gets you so far . That’s why it’s called
“ ineffective “ .

But , then again what do I know.
