Match Liverpool Vs Tottenham, Sun 27th April 4:30pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I take issue with the 'cauldron' claims on comms. Pundits will claim it's the famous Anfield atmosphere but this is just about the easiest trophy ceremony you could imagine.

>5 games left, so plenty of insurance
>it's against the shittest version of us (in the league) I can remember in a long time
>we don't even care and are focussing more on europe in midweek, see: rotating our centre backs against the best attack in the league

It's a fucking carnival. There's zero adversity for the Anfield crowd to endure today - and they went silent as fuck when we actually managed to go ahead.

I will stand by my opinion that this is the weakest PL we've seen in a while. A usual strength Pep's City would have walked it. Fuck, I think prime Poch era Spurs would have had a decent shout. We'd have been a lot better chasing Liverpool than Woolwich have been.

My appraisal of that half ignoring the suicidal tactics as it's a certain this manager is on his way out no matter what now

Vicarios decision making is really poor and puts the team under crazy pressure, he keeps choosing the worst player to pass to when he goes short.

Danso seems a little lazy , maybe that's just today?

Udogie is being bypassed every time, I wonder if it will be Spence on the left on Thursday after today's performance.

Gray not looking great in the DM role so far .

Minor positives, maddison shows moments of quality, tel tries hard to make things happen despite it not coming off.
Solankes goal was good , probably should rest him now for Thursday and maddison

Danso has recovered from an injury, and I just don't think a player can turn on and off, when not getting a regular start.

No you are chatting shit. The famous UEFA cup particularly 84 are among many Spurs fans I know fondest memories.

It's a far bigger trophy than you are crediting it. I love the FA cup but there is no way it's bigger than Europa League.
Btw you can reach an FA cup final playing a bunch of Preston's and Plymouths and then having to beat a Crystal palace to reach a final...case in point this season

Erm .. okay.

Mate if you want to fool yourself in to thinking a competition Rangers (a championship level team) were a pen shootout away from winning is ‘prestigious’ to the top sides in Europe, you knock yourself out.

I don’t feel the need to delude myself or look back at the irrelevant 80’s before I was alive to judge the size of a competition.

Since CL teams did not get dropped in to it; the quality is weak. Which is great for Europe’s b tier as it gives them a chance to win something. But prestigious it isn’t.
