We weren't good enough today'

FT: Tottenham 0-2 Crystal Palace

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We weren't good enough today. We didn't reach the level we needed in the Premier League and fell short. We were disjointed because of the number of changes to the team which obviously affects what we're trying to do. I still think we could have performed better.
"We haven't been able to navigate that process as much as we would have liked, we wouldn't have made as many changes in an ideal world but that's the situation we're in.
"It's quite clear why we've lost so many games. If we weren't in Europe or had a Carabao Cup run and only had the league to think about since Christmas then we'd be higher in the league>

Maybe Spence has concluded that he can’t get a game unless no other options are left regardless of how he plays, so his motivation has flagged.

Not great, but nobody else seems to give a flip about the league either including the manager. We treat the league like an early season cup tie at Tam… er, I mean, against a team that theoretically could not harm us

Scandal to just piss away the league matches the way we do
Palace have a final before we do they haven’t ever won a trophy. Cup final for them is bigger than EL is for spurs. Yet not sure how many changes they made but they murdered us. How does that happen!

It's become all or nothing now but, a club who are in the top ten richest clubs in world football Should be able to deliver a final and a top six finish.
The standards at this club has dropped off a cliff, too many fans are and have been happy just seeing it out, this manager should have gone months ago.
Seriously hope levy doesn't dither around as soon as it's all over.
Not his fault but ,ange is not good enough for the job role at Tottenham and needs replacing ASAP.

A timely reminder after the heady night on Thursday, for anyone that thinks we need to keep this fool on next season if we win the final
Personally, I think this has Cup win and mic. drop written all over it ...
He'll do what he said he'd do, then ride off into the sunset with a Trophy in the bag, and a hefty lump of cash in his pocket!

THEN we can move on to bigger.and better things!

One match to determine whether it's one of our best or worst seasons. I think the prospect of it being the latter is getting to me. It really is all or nothing.
Why can't it be BOTH??

1 Coming 17th in the league is unacceptable even if we win the EL.

2 putting out a 2nd string for this particularly game and Villa is acceptable to try and win the EL. We should have gotten more points in the league prior to resting players for this game.

3 avoiding more injuries is the primary goal to try and win the EL final. The league is done anyway.

4. If Ange wins the EL, we still mutually part way, bring in a new guy and hope to fuck the club can fix the squad. It’s not just a poor manager that is the issue, some of this squad is pants.

5 club needs a manager that is expert at player growth, Pochettino or someone of that ilk.
