Match Tottenham vs Brighton Sunday 25th May 16:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we win good chance of coming 16 or 15 I know it’s just optics but 15th and an EL with a decent home display in the final game would be nice.

Last night did make me realise we are very limited when Kulusevski, Bergvall and in particular Maddison aren’t available. Midfield is very much a position to fix this summer.

Jamie Donley says hi !

Been superb this season, following on from a superb u21 season (his first season playing as a no 10, used to play as a striker - best striker in his E youth group) top assist maker in his division, totalling 19 goals and assists this season. List B so does not take up a squad place...... and gave Pep's ManCity a fright with THAT impossible goal in FA Cup, so capable of playing at PL level.

Alfie Devine is more of an all round CM, able to play as DM AM or no 8 who I'd bring in to compete for CM places currently occupied by Bentancur, Bissouma, Sarr. Bergvall and Gray, again a List B so not taking up a squad place. George Abbott has totally outperformed any expectations this season and could either stay at spurs or be loaned to a Championship side next season - plays as a DM or RB/LB and also a List B.

All 3 looked good in last seasons preseason matches.

Midfield is one area where we have the opportunity to increase size of the squad, which we need to do to minimise the repeat of a big injury crisis and help rotate the squad to prevent player fatigue.

I'm sure we'll bring in one or more experienced upgrades in midfield as well

Have a look at North Stand Chat. They are unbelievably up themselves. Looking down on our European Trophy. They think their 8th place is more impressive. It probably is the biggest achievement in their history I suppose.
They're probably a bit sore over Palace winning the FA Cup. A couple of season's ago and Brighton would have seemed the more likely to win a trophy - all their years of diligent recruitment and player development and Palace win the lottery with a manager change.

And a front row seat for our trophy presentation should go down like a shit sandwich as well.
