c'mon this match meant nothing and if you didn't bet your rent on brighton today you don't like free money. no need to complain or crow. we've been a bin fire all year and we finally won a big cup. both things are true. i'll complain in a few weeks but now it's time for recovery. recovery from the last 3 days of emotional drinking and celebrating and recovery from the last 10 months of misery this season has been. coys!

What's a "realistic opinion"? The result meant absolutely nothing today, we've won our first trophy in 17 years, people pay a shit lot of money to watch us and they are entitled to milk as much of it as they want. Life is hard enough as it is, let alone supporting spurs, so shooting down on those making the most of what is an all too rare occurrence is tragic stuff

Some have been so consumed with negativity for years it seems they can't even put it to the side and enjoy the first major trophy in 17/34/41 years however you want to define it.

Match was a dead rubber. If we'd won, nothing would have changed for us or for Brighton. It was preamble to the party. For the supporters and for the players.

Knew it was going to be hard work today but I'm still happy from Wednesday and losing today means nothing.

It’s time to stop considering ourselves part of the “big six”

We’re just mid table dross and will be for the foreseeable future.

Leeds and Burnley could really kick-on next season and stay up, we could be in big trouble.
