Just heard Crook on TalkSport today still thinking that Spurs won the Europa League because they got an easier draw and if United played like they did against Villa then United would've won... yet Villa had 10 men and a ref against them and Spurs did not let United play...

Popped up to the Peak District for a few days. Weather not great so decided to take the kids in to Manchester. Ended up tagging on to a tour at Old Trafford. Weird bunch of idolising plastic foreigners of all sorts in our group. Got us sat down in the stadium bowl. Asked: “Just to check, is anyone here not a Man United fan?” Our hands all went up. Opened my jacket to show off my cheeky little cockerel and proclaimed us as Spurs. Killed the mood of the other visitors. Just sat smiling somewhat smugly for the rest of it. Got some nice photos with their UEFA Cup replica too. In fairness, the tour guides - who were old school MU fans - were very decent and had a good sense of humour too. And we shared our mutual hatred of the Arse, Chavs and Dippers. Felt very pleased with myself on the way home. No I’m not growing up.

That last five minutes was great comedy. The fact that the idea of Spurs winning was so quickly dismissed that they immediately went on to the subject of a parade or a a barbecue in Manchester was pure joy.
I wish we were in it again to be honest. Back to back trophies would be better than getting maimed by Barcelona and PSG.
