Oh Ange played the media and fans perfectly after the EL win. His season 3 speech and "I don't know if I'm here next season woe is me" bit helped back the club into a corner.
And, I get the argument that since he won a trophy he should get to continue on. But at the same time the league losses are too many to ignore going back to November 2023.
IF Ange stays on I fully expect it to end in tears. I am not confident that he can build on this.

Having Frank - an eloquent, genuinely nice bloke who is super tactical and can vary his style brilliantly will be an absolute dream after having this guy.

The risk with Frank has to be similar to Nuno, he holds little advantage in the dressing rooms.
What's your rationale for keeping Ange? It seems to me to be the fear of what might happen, obfuscating the view of the very grim reality we are faced with at present, which is a man whom, when faced with the prospect of 4 competitions (one of which he went out of in the 2nd game we played in) managed to muster 38 points?
I feel you're intelligent enough to know exactly how facetious it is to compare finishing mid table with a team like Brentford and their resources, with finishing 17th with the ninth richest club in the world.

Tbh Ange showed zero flexibility. Its way too risky keeping Ange for premier league. We could go down ffs. Tbh I would like de zerbi. Not sure iraola is up for it leaving bournemouth. Tbh ive heard a few ex experienced managers say frank would be a good appointment for us. All will be revealed next week imo.
