My heart is speaking to me yet again...

"Oy,Tart,"
it says, "Levy has let things ride for a few days after winning the EL, to show a bit of respect to Ange. After all, he won the trophy. Let him have his bit of Glory for that achievement. But now, in the cold light of day, with an eye to the future, the Club needs to be back in the top four again. Unfortunately this means that we must part ways with Ange and thank him for getting the monkey off our backs."

Please God, heart, I hope you're right.

Your heart wants to be back in the top 4

No mention from your heart about actually subbing things?

Yeah, the players will virtue signal for a bit, but when it comes down to it, they’ll knuckle down.

I think Romero was going one way or another any way. The Little Argentina of Atleti is just too enticing for him.

Or the results will be poor and we will get Sami Mokbel reports they don’t like his tactics before Christmas. Especially if Atleti don’t pay what Romero is worth and we keep him without signing a new contract.

The rumours were true for once. But I dont see the point in having a superstar manager if you dont want to buy superstar players.

Youd be better off with Frank given the ambition of the club in terms of transfers.

- Hi Simone, yes, just wanted to get a feel for interest in our managerial position here.

"Yes, of course, I'm interested, What signings do you have in the pipeline...2

- "Mathys Tel"

"... ... ... *click*"

- "Hello?! ...Hello?!! ... Simone??!"

Dereliction of duty imo first game of season away to leicester. Sleepwalking for vardys goal. Had head turned last summer. Was world class in final but very inconsistent. Sell him and get guehi.
Don't want to slag the bloke off too much, because he's a winner and was fantastic in the europa league run.. but he's a mercurial and fairweather centre back. Mercurial is something you can take from a number 10.. But never a centre back.

IDK who you're informed by but we have significantly outspent Inter Milan every single season since Inzaghi became their manager in 2021 and he was manager of Lazio for 5 years prior, he certainly is not what you would describe as a "big budget" manager, he's made the most of what he has had to work with at both clubs and done very well in Italy. Jury is out on what he could achieve here but certainly 2 CL final appearances with Inter and a serie A are the kind of credentials that are hard not to get excited about.

We have unfinished business with floppy haired Italian coaches who like a back three.
