I do understand why he’s lost his job, but there’s still a little part of me thinking that getting rid of him is a gamble, especially if the replacement is someone like Frank. I don’t doubt Frank is a decent enough coach but however it’s dressed up managing Brentford and Spurs are two completely different things and the reality is he’s now coming to a club with a different set of expectations.

I want to be wrong but feel like he’s not the right choice.

Ange will be fine. He’ll get a nice payoff whilst he contemplates his next move. He won us a trophy for which we should be grateful but he just doesn’t appear to be bright enough to succeed at the very highest level. I mean if you are playing a different style in the cups and getting results then try playing that way in the league and you might not lose 22 matches and get sacked- not rocket science is it!

It's more the bile and hatred that has been in the thread rather than whether it was right to sack him that pissed me off.

Where would expect Frank to get Brentford? Top 4? Their highest earner is on £45k per week and wants out. The have a tiny stadium and no right to be top half PL ahead of us, Utd, West Ham etc. I say it’s weird take that your belittling his achievements.

I don’t see many amazing alternatives that get the PL. not much between Silva, Iraola or Frank tbh.
 
Club made the right decision to let him go now AND to let him finish out the season.

An interim manager like Ryan Mason wouldn't won us the Europa cup. I'm glad Ange finished his tenure with a cup win and he goes with his head held high.
