I am a bit dubious about this supposed 8m release clause. How much are they paying Frank. Cannot see it being much more than 2-3m at the very most. That means his release clause will be about 3 times his wage. Why would he agree to that in a contract.

How have people immediately taken this Silva story as gospel? The portugese press have been infamous for years for linking portugese players and managers to English clubs spuriously. And The I is hardly anything to put stock in.. Just an hour ago Fabrizio Romano was still pushing that Thomas Frank is the leading candidate, and whatever some may think of him, he is vastly more credible than any source pushing a Silva story.
