I've seen Anthony at 90k all the way up to 200k. The highest only with CL qualification.
even at 90k he's grossly overpaid, so not sure Betis will want to sign him permanently without a salary subsidy rom ManU ?

Mount they will keep. There's a fair few players they might need to do deals on to get rid of the huge wages - Sancho, Mount, Casemero, Anthony,
Can they afford to do it in one window and get in some replacements ?
Strongly linked to ETH in Germanyeven at 90k he's grossly overpaid, so not sure Betis will want to sign him permanently without a salary subsidy rom ManU ?

Others need to go but unlikely to want to without a payoff
Agreed.Heard the same thing about Wharton & Alex Scott when we were linked with them as champo players....... The former has much of the fanbase wanking over him now; the latter barely had a mention since.
Like those 2; we'll find out his fate when he eventually makes the leap.
Good on the ball, very poor off it. Would be fine in a possession dominating team but would get murdered in an open end to end game. Maybe built more for the continent than for the Prem. Can understand him being on our radar but we can do so much better. What's the deal with this guy7?
Is he actually good?
Like GOOD good?

We finished fifth the previous season with a lot of this squad and are arguably a stronger squad now. Don't need too many new players brought in to be back around that 4th,5th or 6th spot again. He is going to have to work with the squad he inherits plus 1 or 2 in the window. We aren't doing another rebuild after 18 months.
Are you agreeing with him though? Doesn't sound like it - you've only named success stories, I think his point is that you don't know until they are in the prem, as there are as many, if not more, failures than success stories - for every Wharton there is a Scott (and probably far more Scotts than Whartons). It's too easy too just focus on the successes - you've got to be lucky enough to get one...
They’re not in as bad of a an issue as made out to be. Plus the PL have been unable to close the loophole of clubs selling off parts of their club like Chelsea did, and owners just investing at free will. So Ratcliffe could sell off a business and invest £200m quite easily. The league is about to become more fucked.ManU close to having ffp issues and have yet to offload Rashford (wages £350k pw) who was on loan at Villa but without CL they cannot afford him so he's back at ManU, Anthony is on loan at Betis but they are not known for paying high wages so to make deal permanently bound to mean manU subsiding the move. A couple of other high earners to consider
Not sure ManU will be keen on paying anything like £200k pw with no CL income, certainly until they offload their high earners.

If Thomas Frank happens then Mbeumo will happen too. He seems to be a father figure for a lot of players in that squad according to media, even more than Ange with Spurs. If we somehow do get Mbeumo, Manure fans are going to go mental. lol
They went early and have been celebrating for days.
FFP isn't the question, it's what losses your owners will bear. Pretty clear that INEOS isn't in perfect shape and the Glazers/stock market are worse than ENIC.I think they are alright actually. There was an article on the Athletic the other day saying they’ve done some kind of funky financial move with a sister company to reduce their ffp commitments by about £100 million so they’re well within the limits.
