fair comment.

I think that comes from the fact she has limited information on players (particullarly as she does not follow Spurs) so its easier to work out who needs to be upgraded and suggest alternatives, than a more wide review which requires more extensive knowledge
Sometimes an outside view point is more useful. Eg almost all pundits and a lot of non-Spurs fans think Kulu is our most important player.

Collective headloss in here, funny reading tbh

"Spurs could be offering him a gold palace with a rotating wheel of OnlyFans models sucking his dick and they wouldnt have the appeal of putting on the red shirt at Old Trafford at our worst. This is all bullshit. You dont go from "I want Man United, CL football doesnt matter" to "hmmm ... Spurs eh?" within a week."

Honestly don't know why anyone would consider United.

Eze and a number 6 is still what I want. Don’t want Mbueno if it means we don’t go for Eze. Ideally we’d go for both, but sadly I can’t see Levy doing both.

12 years now since they won the PL, Barca were the current La Liga champions when Bergvall chose us over them and they're historically a quantifiably more successful club than United.

I suspect "history" and "aura" actually factor fairly low down on most players' list of reasons for choosing one club over another.

Whereas United are in for a real cakewalk considering Neville said literally the only player they have that gets in our strongest team is Fernandes... and I might actually agree with him for once. Cunha excepted of course.

Brentford took treble the points off the top six than Spurs did last season.

Games: 38
Goals: 20
Assists: 8

Meh, let's pay forty odd million for Tel and his "lucky" bandage , and stick him out on the right.

If only all of it was so simple. .

It's just my opinion on Mbuemo, so he comes I am 100% on board.

I hope you can excuse me for not reading where the club had been told it was Tel, Mbuemo or nobody. Stupid me.

Yeah it'll be one or the other. I'd have agreed with Eze but starting to think Eze might not be what frank needs. He wants his wide players running in behind so Eze won't suit on the wing. Eze would start for us in the 10 no problem but then you have no room for Maddison/Kulusevski as I don't see Frank playing 2 attacking mids in a 3 like what Ange did. Therefore I'm starting to think Mbeumo could be a better option for us under Frank! Can play anywhere accross the front 3 and could be our Solanke replacement in the 9 if we cash in on Richarlison.

I'd rather have Mbeumo tbh. I think Eze essentially overlaps with Madders and Kulu. Different players, but you probably can't even play two of those three IF you have a proper RW/RF in the team ... which Mbeumo is.

All that boils down to is that Mbmo improves our first XI more than Eze on average.

Wasnt keen on Mbuemo, had one season wonder / kind of unrefined vibes of him as a player.

Also had it my head he was around 30.

Goes to show how little attention Ive paid to him this season (football in general to be fair, Spurs being so unreliable tends to breed apathy)

Having looked into him now - I think he could be our Son replacement (obviously on the other wing)

But he looks to provide much of the same as what Son does (if not more in terms of defensively) and now Im quite excited at the prospect of trying to hijack the deal

I'm not sure we have a 'most important player' any more - a range of decent players but nobody who is consistently head and shoulders above the rest, Son a year or two ago was head and shoulders above but no longer.

Kulusevski remains one of a number of important players for Spurs as he's generally fit, playing 2nd highest number of minutes last season and one of 5 players with approximately the same highest number of goals and assists - along with Solanke, Johnson, Maddison and Son.

So replaceable, yes, but not too many better who could come in - and we have far more urgent need to upgrade other players atm.

It's not all about wages and not all footballers are the same, everyone has different motivations.
It really is about wages when it comes to us. If we are in for a player and Man Utd are in for the same player he goes to Man Utd. Not because Man Utd is a better option or deemed to be a bigger club it’s because of money and the big gap in the offers. Man Utd will offer a lot more per week.
It’s not just what the players want,it’s what their families and agents want too. We just won’t compete with the big boys.

Agree with this. Eze is a baller undoubtedly, but he’s also a luxury player and considering the state of our squad and the positions that need attention, he would be an ill advised signing I would say.

The fact that no other top PL club seem to be in any way interested in Eze should also be taken into account.
