Tel is Son's replacement isn't he...

Must admit I don't see it with Tel at all, but I'm not thinking he can't develop into a top player but I've seen nothing yet.

If he's Son's replacement that is massively underwhelming.

Intriguing hypothetical but if we bid £70 million for Mbeumo and United can only offer £60 million, how much of a factor does the player agreeing wages with either club come into things.

Assuming United could offer £300,000 per week and we would only offer £200,00 per week who's got the go ahead for the green light?

Interesting. The club might say yes to us but the player no. And the other way around.

Has to be agreed by both player and club. If Mbeumo only wants Utd, Brentford either have to accept the offer or prevent Mbeumo from leaving.

LOL..... The whole point of a release clause is that it's straight forward.

It's either triggered or not.

Spanish and Portuguese release clauses have previously been complicated as hell. There’s been tax implications, admin fees (in the millions), then there’s the agent fees, how the fee is paid, player sponsorship/other parties involved etc etc etc. Given multiple sources have stated Eze’s release clause conditions are complicated then it’s highly unlikely it’s just a case of pay the fee.

With Tel, we have too many wingers to likely fit into our European squad:
Son, Tel, Odobert, Solomon, Johnson, Kulusevski.

Solomon got 10 goals 12 assists in the Championship, and Frank reportedly wants to keep him... but I'm not sure he's PL level.
