United are absolutely slaves to failure.

They don't possess a single player who is getting into a Premier League 18-man squad. I don't see any fear about playing them and don't belive their fans can carry them over the line, as they once did.

Amorim will have to be outstanding to get them nto the top 5 next season, and more likely he is gone by Christmas.

Let them keep paying way over the odds for good but far from special players.

Apparently Steven Bergwijn has been chucked out of the Dutch national squad since 2024 for moving to a Saudi team at a relatively young age, and showing a lack of ambition.
