Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Fan-Fucking-tastic...

I don't even want the bloke but now we know we are going to be chasing him for the rest of the window.
We will pretend we are moving onto other targets, Sit on it for a good month, Put another bid in which they will reject. And then scramble on the last day of the window to get it over the line with a final bid.

I've seen this movie before somewhere...

Meanwhile Chelsea just carry on bending the system, using the loopholes and signing every other player in the world.

When are people going to finally wake up and realise we are exactly par for the ambition we show.

Frank hasn’t even seen the squad yet, it’s understandable that we’re moving slowly and cautiously in the transfer market.

I expect once he has some experience with the boys we will be more decisive and sign a couple of good players to compete for starting 11 spots.

My brother, Frank seeing the squad has exactly fuck all to do with how slow we’ve been in the transfer market.

If/when they can’t do a deal, they will say that Frank decided he likes a player we already have. Fares about as important as it gets for Frank seeing them in training.

Why do the ladies have a much smaller AIA-logo on ther shirts???

Last part is exactly what Levy is banking on. A manager who can have us outperforming on the cheap and is happy to work with what he's got.

Yep but there will always be a ceiling even if that does come to pass.

Us under Levy, it's like relying for a hole in one every time you play golf in the hope of winning a trophy.

Instead of appointing Frank, hoping he builds something special, AND then backing him with top class signings, and spending lots of money.

Wouldn't really expect much in terms of transfers this summer to be honest. Think the club, or rather Levy, shouldn't really say the club...Daniel Levy made his intention clear with Thomas Frank. A Coach known in England for doing much better than he should with one of the lowest wage and net transfer spends in the league. And we were quick to put out the stories of being in transfer debt/cash poor.

think he's tasked with taking what is already here into the top 6 and into the CL knockout rounds, and then they'll look at things again next summer.

I expect the starting line-up on the opening day to be

Vicario
Porro
VDV
Romero (forced to stay unless unlikely silly money comes)
Udogie

Bentancur
Bergvall
Maddison

Tel
Solanke
Johnson/new player

maybe 1 or 2 new young prospects on the bench

please look forward to it :frankwtf:

thank god we won something

Like Chelsea, their owners invest. It’s only sustainable whilst they continue to boost revenue through their own money / investment. We are the complete opposite, do the absolute bare minimum and don’t have any owner or outside investment. Groundhog decade
Of all the billionaires in the world, we got the one that was only interested in using us as a tool!

Don't worry, club will move for an alternative, around 8 m from Norway or something.
