I can never tell with you :roflmao:

We absolutely need to upgrade, but that applies every season.
Standing still is going backwards.
But we're not as far off 4th to 6th as some like to push. Most of them are Angefans who can't cope with the fact it was largely his fault we were so bad

I think we are well off 6th with this squad.

In my opinion it has some quality but it lacks character, amd any player or way of playing who opposing manager or players fear.

When Kane left,we still had Son,who was still at it, and had introduced Maddisom who had a 10-week purple patch. Teams weren't sure. They sussed us out and we went off the boil.

Put simply we need quality reinforcements on my view.

That the club (sometimes) has the good sense not to pay over the odds for unworthy players is not an argument in favor of not paying for any players at all.

And Traore's limitations were very well known and discussed on here at the time. It wasn't 50M either.

Spurs will also be very wary of West Ham. Funnily enough these boards do have their own little rivalries about who gets one over on who. Spurs will not want to overpay for Kudus and will not want to be dragged into a bidding war. West Ham will not want Tottenham to be the only club in the running for Kudus where they'll eventually have to agree to sell him for less than they wanted. Especially to Tottenham. They'll hold out and keep offering him to other top clubs in the hope that someone does hijack us or at least force Levy to overpay.

According to reports, it seems Kudus doesn't care where he goes as long as he gets out of West Ham. Doesn't say much about him does it? But that is how west ham have reported it!

Says he’s probably a sensible chap, surely?

Been asked this a few times now so I'll address is once. I don't really want to discuss this here but I'm involved in a horse racing syndicate with someone who's very involved in the club at a board level. He wouldn't have any idea on team level stuff (injuries, tactics, etc) but he'd have a fair idea of who are are after and why we might have missed out on players.

This doesn't make me special or an ITK. I still put 2 and 2 together and get 5! I was convinced we were all out to sign Eze last week after hearing all the stories of how we had his family in a complimentary box the last 2 seasons and basically wined and dined them! All for nothing. I also heard a very different story on the Cardoso deal where I'd been told we'd be getting a piece of the fee if another club signing him for more than our agreed fee. Not sure what happened there! Sounds like someone on our side messed up the contract because the club seemed convinced they were entitled to something lol

ok

Need more links to a great 6. I'd personally love to get Hjulmand (If he adds Calvin pissing to that Woolwich tattoo of his).

Hjulmand
Xavi Simons
Antonee Robinson
Kudus

In that order and call it a day

Make it happen :levyeyes::frankpoint:

It's just an astounding assessment to say Kudus is a player who has a great attitude and just wants to win when it's widely recognised that it's exactly his attitude and application that is holding him back.

West Ham fans can't wait to be shot of him which tells you it all really.
I wasn't aware of that.

Whenever I've seen Kudus play I've always thought he has something.

He had a poor season but so did West Ham.

I understand your point though.

I don't have much faith in many modern players to sustain decent form over one full season never mind half a dozen.
