Wasn’t it Forest who brought the Palace/Lyon affair up? They benefit.Palace demoted from EL to Conference . Meanwhile Chelsea and City earning shedloads at the CWC .
Not a Post Office type scandal but skewed justice imho

You're supposed to ask for permission first and a lot of clubs still follow that old process, despite agents being hyenas. Either the other club tells you to fuck off (that's when the interested buyer will sometimes tell their target to agitate for a move) or they'll give you the go ahead, then you negotiate with the player and his reps and when you got their green light, you talk numbers with the selling club. But permission must be given beforehand, not having the whole deal done & dusted with the seller.Forest clearly just posturing for their fans. If tapping up was actually a thing then every single club would be guilty. Every transfer is agreement with player before club contacts their club.
I was on a cross trainer sweating my bollocks off. It’s George Takei, you’ve managed to disrespect our player and bloody Sulu from the starship enterprise in one post.
Exactly. Everyone knows Forest's GOAT is Andy Reid.
Ditto. Lol.
Nah I'm real chuffed with the Kudus & especially MGW signings, but we still have a few issues that do need addressing. We lost 22 games and finished 17th last season...obviously Frank plus them two lads should/will help us climb up the table, but it ain't enough to reach the top 3-4 IMHO.
We need to look at the goalie situation...and I ain't talking about just Vic. Defo need a left-footed CB who can stay fit the whole season and more experienced than Micky...if the latter drops to the bench, so be it, earn your place back! I wouldn't be sad at all if we brought in Antonee Robinson and he started ahead of Udogie. Still need a tough tackling bastard in the middle. An elite CF wouldn't go amiss either...sorry big Dom. Also, let's ship out the ones who've been stinking up the place for too long...looking at you Richy, Biss and a couple others. Sonny leaves as a legend.
Give them an extra 3 mil + Josh Onomah and be done with it.
If anything it's probably made his weekend. I can see him rubbing his hands together and dusting off the boxing gloves, ready to get stuck in.
It's the first time I'm more relieved Levy's on our side and not that fat souvlaki!!He looked like a massive bell end when he was having a go at Nuno in front of the cameras end of last season too
Players aren't free to talk to other clubs if they're still under contract.I don’t even understood how they can claim it’s an illegal approach. It’s the transfer window, players are free to talk to other clubs.
They’re attempting to prove collusion.
I expect they just want a bit more money.
And the 25/26 premiership award for biggest dummy spit goes to….,,,,

This certainly helps whatever it is we’re rumored to be doing.

Agreed. Really seems to have gone by the waysideI think they spoke about this on the View From The Lane podcast a while ago.
Before the VVD saga(?), clubs would agree a fee with the club before negotiating terms. Now it seems that clubs negotiate terms with a player before a fee, even though they shouldn't, through intermediaries like agents etc. Clubs just turn a blind eye to it because it's what everyone does now.
We do need more, but I think if we add one or two more, that’s about right. Anymore than that into the first team and we’ll struggle to settle everyone.Ditto. Lol.

You remember it was always during internationalsOf course, and back in the day it meant clandestine meetings at airport hotels. Now with encrypted messaging and video chat it’s impossible to stop agents talking to prospective clubs.
Larsson isn’t really a DM though. More like Sarr and not worth 50m to be that much better than Sarr, if he’s better at all.
Whenever I watched Agoume he looked anything but slow. He destroys and distributes
Edit: Stiller looks a better option than both

I don't think it works that way when there's a selling clause. You meet it, they're fucked. But they can play hard ball and that was to be expected from that Greek prick.
10-15 mil + Richy
He was good, pretty good even...but nowhere near elite.Nah, start of Ange’s first season, there was a stretch where he was every bit an elite #6. Unplayable. Then some iffy bookings and reds, mixed with his own lack of consistency and it all fell apart.
Exactly.

The only one we can't lose is Micky.Teams need 15 starting 11 players. Minimum. Games changed. players getting hooked at 60 minutes doesn't mean they've played badly, just good to give them half our to cool down properly and be ready for the next game.
£20-£25m
He's 29 soon and 1 year on his contract. He's not Harry Kane. If he holds out until January he's into the low teens IMO.
I was thinking yesterday that we're in a position where I'm not sure we get weaker by letting anyone go tbh. I doubt Romero goes now, but if he did, it would be enough money to replace him and balance the books IMO. Literally anyone can go IMO and I doubt many fans would be upset. We don't have a Berbatov, Modric, Bale or Kane to "lose"
