There's something Gibbs-White could have done about it, but if he were willing to he absolutely would not have set foot at Forest's training ground ever again.
While I agree with you about not many other suitors (although I wouldn’t rule out Man Utd), Forest could easily decide keeping the player for another season is well worth a 20m hit in valuation.
I mean I'm no legal expert, but this to me just looks like a complete bluff from Forest.

It;s the only way they can keep the player. They are trying to make it as difficult as they can, basically for us to decide it's too much hassle and to shop elsewhere.

Didn't hear the guy reporting mention us but he did confirm they had written to MGW and his agent warning them a breach of confidentiality risks the possibility of legal action.
They are not able to do likewise in our case because they are not talking to us ever again.....their lawyers might though.
