I've no idea how accurate the right to work in the UK part is, as I'm not sure being an EU national now carries the same benefit as when Saliba signed pre-Brexit.

I do reckon that, if nothing else, the club needs to be very careful of ensuring his loan destination still allows him to become CT in future. If we even do loan him out.

Sarr was signed after the start of the first season so couldn't have got 3 entire season for CT regardless of whether we loaned him back

Training with the big club at this stage might be what's right for his development.

I don't think there's any one perfect development path, different players are different.

I have a reasonable degree of trust in Frank and Lange to make good decisions with our kids (Cochrane knows what he's doing too), and having two recent ex-coaches in the Championship who know our prospects, it feels like we could really have a positive development year this year. Fingers crossed.

Also part of me thinks Vuskovic is just straight up our 3rd best CB right now.
