Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If Gibbs-White has looked at Kalvin Phillips, he won't go near City. Too many fish, too small a pool. Not rocket science.

This has also become very boring.

If the clause was met, and if there has been no formal complaint by Forest,it's for us to seek legal advice, but only if the player wants the move.

Either way, it's a distraction and we desperately need other players.

What is for sure, Marinakis, however rich, may have shown he is no pushover, but he has made things a lot more difficult for Forest going forward.

As for Gibbs-White, if he wants out, he submits a transfer request, and then his stance is clear, if not necessarily who he wants/prefers to join.

Just goes to show how little is fact over speculation, as he was the 'Done deal' not so long ago.

That is a very fair theory. City have signed two players with a higher ceiling than MGW for less. It is very fair to assume they knew about the RC and decided against it.

This idea that we are robbing Forest blind with the RC is crazy. 60m is still a lot of money. I don't think anyone would have been willing to pay 70m+ for him.

I think it’s pretty obvious we were the only club he’s interested in who will play the RC

But they are only getting offered below it now it’s public public

Will this be the last dregs of what the owe us for Kane

The longest part exchange deal in history

Palinha fits exactly what we need and and 25-30m is a very fair price. That si euro too so probably around 20m Sterling.

My only concern is that he is coming off the back of a poor season and given he is now 30 years old, I hope his best days aren't behind him. The Fulham version from 2 seasons ago would be an unbelievable signing.

He’s an insanely limited footballer but can do a job.

Fulham version won’t really exist in the same way for us because we won’t be playing that way as an underdog 90% of the time where we need a pure defensive midfield type who sits.
