and if you think about it we could finish 17th next season with spending £55 millionOf course the irony of this is Liverpool went on to win the league after a summer of adding nobody

i mean we were willing to sign MGW with the same players there. The last line is key. There won't be a deal until we sell Bissouma and that will take weeks.
Right now we probably have a better coach than we did a year ago , does need proving but I rate Frank .
Are we a better team in terms of players than a year ago , well that is debatable. Son is on a very steep downward curve in many peoples opinion. Davies is older and was exposed badly several times last season. MGW has not signed as yet and Kudus who I like had a very poor season last season at West Ham so does have something to prove .
I am hoping MGW gets done along with 2 more quality signings and Bergvall kicks on even more , but as I type I think Frank might be the game changer , not the signings of players .
Think Mike McGrath is reasonably connected looks like Palhinha is the incoming 6

He's just a shit Davinson Sanchez.Mat De ligt central to all our greatest victories over the last decade. Why don't people get he's never even been as good as prime Eric Dier. The blokes bang damn average.
Daniel's getting fitted for a crown topper?
I agree but I don't think thats how the club will operate. That is assuming they still see the MGW transfer as pendingi mean we were willing to sign MGW with the same players there.
it's all bullshit excuses. Just fucking sell the deadwood after, it doesn't stop you signing players ffs.
For sure, he's no Adam Wharton on the ball anyway. He is good as a destroyer but I would prefer someone in that position who can pass
We are signing him because he's available not because he is the best option out there, which is why we will always come up short under ENIC
it's also quite hilarious that people still can't accept we might have been the ones that fucked up in the MGW transfer.

If Romero stays I'd like to see him moved into the 6 position, maybe share that role with Palhinha, depending on the competition. If we buy Palhinha we will need to keep Romero. We will need someone from deep who is good at passing forward. Palhinha is amazing off the ball will be one of the best in the league but limited passing range.
You are a man who is clearly a glass is half full guy , so am I with almost everything but how our club is run . I hope you are right because that bodes well for the coming season , but post Poch we seem to have got very little right on the footballing side .That is my main feeling, but also part of an underlying concern.
Son is declining rapidly, yes, which may not be an issue for us when the season starts. Davies is, IMO, going to be there to guide players around him. We've got lots of players in front of him now IMO (obvs Romero and VdV, but also Dragusin and Danso, then I expect Vuskovic to be in the mix.. who knows with Takai - but that's easily 5 CBs as we stand). LB has been spence but I think we need someone either LB or RB (or wing back, whatever).
So IMO, LB aside, I am keen to let Frank do his thing with what we have there. If we sign MGW and/or if there are other outgoings then we'll need to move, but I wouldn't want to mess about with the squad too much with Frank coming in, as I have seen more problems with too much change at once. It'll be stupid if we get too many new players to his detriment and having a poor start while they are still gelling (perhaps a bit like AVB's 2nd season).
It seems like we're pretty stack though as it is - we have a lot of players to figure out, such as whether Son/Solomon/Richi are staying. I'd assume that anyone that doesn't leave is wanted by frank. People will scoff at that but I reckon Justin and Frank are going to be like kids in a candy shop with the squad we currently have, coming off the back of years at Brentford.
Tuchel has stated, I believe, that he'll only be considering players playing CL Football for his squad.
Do you think MGW will gamble with his chances by staying with Forest, when he's guaranteed CL Football with us?
