Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Usual training ground pre season game. Total control but ridiculous goalkeeping error makes it level. Best players are Vuskovic,Lucas,Porro and Odobert. Abbott been tidy. Richy and Sonny offering very little to nothing. Sarr usual energy with no great quality but gets a goal. Romero strolling. Ben is just Ben and shouldn’t be there. Austin not touched the ball but awful error.

Theyre moving the ball too slowly from the back. Not much difference from last season. No new tactics as well so far. Still the same move the ball from left to right to left between the defenders, then pass to the advancing porro who passes it back again. Midfielders also playing sideway passes all day long. Attempts to play the ball forward would result in losing possession. Nothings changed tactical wise from last season, as far as the 1st half is concerned.

We now building up with 3 at the back. Thats the only difference I see

It's abit shabby overall.

Can see the structural work, the shape the team knowing when to press and when to drop into the mid block. I like that aspect.

Few thoughts.

I prefer porro as the deeper fullback rather than being the attacking one as he is in this game. He can't beat a man when hes in those dangerous areas and he can still affect the game with his passing and crossing from deep. Obviously with Davies in this game it was always going to be that way.

Odobert is so delightful to watch, already has worldclass aspects in his game. He just needs to make the right choices and concentrate on execution.

Bergvall controlling well.

Vuskovic is surely staying. He's like a thoroughbred racehorse out there.

King sonny is dead.

It's only a preseason, but already reenforces what many believed from last season, Richy nowhere near good enough and that's when he is available, Son looks shot, Davies should no longer be in in the plans of a team with top tier ambitions. Austin shows why he will always be a reserve keeper, called on once and let us down.

What are you expecting to change in 20 days?
