So we can't even sign a player when we bid the release clause and who supposedly wants to sign for us and in space of 2 weeks he ends up staying at his club?!?
I'm sure glad pool, city, Chelsea, man utd and that lot down the road haven't strengthened more than we had after our worst league performance in most of our lifetimes where we finished 17th and lost 22 league games.

No , not suggesting that. Personally I don't think either keeper are good enough and would be looking for a new number 1, however doubt it is a priority

Probably jumping to conclusions here. He probably just offered him a shit load of money and said "you can stay on your existing terms or sign a new deal, you aren't going to Spurs".

No way was Maranakis conceding to Levy here . Cringe how loads of Spurs fans were like "you don't want to fuck with Levy". He got cooked.
