I wouldn't be so confident that MGW will go for more later on in his career if I were them. They should've taken all that money when they had the chance.

Looks like a quite impulsive decision from their hotheaded owner to save face.

All they’ve done is kept him for a year.

Removed the release clause, and paid him more money. When they eventually sell him, he will have lost a year of his career and they’ll only make 10-20m more money. It’s so small time in the great scheme of things.

What's his wages before and after.... Any ideas?

Never has so much money been spent on such a waste of time. Athleti once paid 100m for him
God knows why Chelsea bought him for 45m. Money laundering probably.

Chelsea is very obviously a mechanism for moving funds across borders using players as the vehicle.

They aren’t the only “club” involved either. Villa are suspicious as well.

Football is shit and the PL are the chief culprits

Forget the MGW bs but tell me how Marinakis passed any fit and proper test?

ENIC's ownership of Spurs is now doing us harm isn't it?

The illusion is falling apart with every bullshit story spun by the likes of Gold and WATTV.

While the serious clubs are TCB ENIC are taking the piss.

Talk is cheap and so are ENIC.

It's still sell to buy and Levy is going nowhere unless his position is made untenable.

What bullshit stories are WATTV trying to spin????

They've been Enic out for quite a while now, very upfront about their dissatisfaction at how the club operates

Even Gold criticizes when he needs to. He is just a non confrontational character, his reactions are more mellow, and he is a Tottenham journalist so in some sense he has to be careful about what he can and cannot say

But they're ON that train, those are the circles they move in...
A select group of super wealthy clubs who buy and sell between eachother for exorbitantly high amounts to keep the money moving...
. .we ain't in that club!
We're too busy activating buy outs that don't end in an actual transfer!

We're Tomy™® my first Football Club!

Call me a stupid cunt, but I think we need the opposite before ENIC and Levy goes. Levy is a money man, ENIC is an investment company. They'd want a massive pay day. Only way they get that is if we do win the EPL and CL and sit at the top of the table.

We lose, or get relegated, then that's just another failed experiment and they try again.

Again, that's just my opinion, doesn't count for much.

Yup... They most likely sell at peak value; not in the hypothetical scenario of us being relegated.

Best we can hope for now is an Elliot and Hackney double deal ..... surely one of them will turn out to be a decent player

Or an Alex Scott

Cut our cloth accordingly and all that :franksnarl:

Don't worry lads the future is bright for our infrastructure, just ask this ITK

"Prof:

The club is close to finalizing an influx of funds. Much of it is earmarked for infrastructure projects (eg hotel and training ground). Trying to ascertain how much, if any, will be allocated to transfers."
