We don't know the contract MGW was offered by Spurs or by Marinakis.

No one knows the legalities of the contract whether a release clause was in it or not?

My concern would be when the amount of the release clause was known why didn't a single European club counter our bid, not one?

There comes a point when a club has to move on, or decides that the player simply isn't worth what the selling club is now offering the player to stay. No doubt the players agent may have said to Lange, well Marinakis is offering xxxx in wages.

That to my mind as a DOF would say well the player only wants the most money, not the club, it's future or to wear the shirt and I wouldn't blame Levy to take the stance and say fuck him.

In fact I think most clubs would.

Moore going on loan makes sense, a year at a championship club playing good football would set him up well to come back and contribute next season, when we will know for sure that Son is off.
Interesting that Yang has made the squad, would have thought he's another who's sure to get a loan this season with Kudus having just come in.

Our wingers are pretty wank outside of Kudus. Yang has as much of a shot as any.

Did you not see the Sky interview with Tel last week? Tel said he never even spoke with Frank before signing his permanent deal - Never spoke to Frank. But Tel did watch some Brentford games from last years to see how Frank’s teams play - So Tel at least is a club signing - Levy being Levy - not on Frank. The other signings - believe what you like …
