Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Did you not see the Sky interview with Tel last week? Tel said he never even spoke with Frank before signing his permanent deal - Never spoke to Frank. But Tel did watch some Brentford games from last years to see how Frank’s teams play - So Tel at least is a club signing - Levy being Levy - not on Frank. The other signings - believe what you like …

Can’t find a link to interview itself but see 11:17 from We are Tottenham TV discussion on Tel’s interview below.

Frank had the final say.

Capiche?

Moore going on loan makes sense, a year at a championship club playing good football would set him up well to come back and contribute next season, when we will know for sure that Son is off.
Interesting that Yang has made the squad, would have thought he's another who's sure to get a loan this season with Kudus having just come in.
I think Moore is where Donley was last season... Albeit a year or two younger...

Donley has clearly benefitted from his loan at Orient, and it wouldn't surprise me if Moore was also loaned to a London club (he's a Millwall fan isn't he? Just a thought...)
Charlton, QPR or Watford would be a decent shout too...
... But there's always the ex-coach familiarity of Birmingham/W.B.A as options too....
Both Bigger championship clubs with quite a demanding Fanbase ... Could be the perfect experience for him, Devine or Scarlett...

Come on mate, we all know the club was briefing the likes of Gold, who himself always states he has two verified sources before he comments on a story. The club 100% thought they did it.

As for Gold, I don’t like the guy, but clearly he’s not just a YouTube hang on. He’s at every pre and post match presser and has access to club media. I would love this not to have been another Levy master class, but it is. No matter how much it hurts.

Gold knows fuck all, never has.

"Souces at the club"

"A source close to the club"

Gold have never predicted anything, and put his name to is.

A broken clock tells the correct time twice a day, Gold has never put his reputation on the line over a players transfer to Spurs.

bit worried about Udogie's resilience

think we need another LB for sure

Not keen for Moore to go out on loan at all. Last season he already showed he could play some part. If we wanna grow him, we grow him in games under our colours as late subs or some of the cup games. I know he's still young, but not like we are buying marquee world class stars that he has no space to push for his spots when we have an inexperienced Tel, an injury prone Richy and an aging Son if the latter two ended up staying

I think ideally you want Kelly to be fresher. Been on a while and looks a tad tired.

Spain haven't got goalscorers, so unless it's a mistake I think this goes one way now.
What The Hell Wtf GIF

One of the reasons Scouse have spent huge.

How come we never have reasons like that?

If enic sold an asset or saved money elsewhere, there is no chance in hell they'd pump it into the club and we'd see a window like they are having.

The whole ENIC model is boring and small-time when it comes to recruiting the squad. They are way more excited by real estate.

I don’t really understand what Levy and the board are playing at, we almost got relegated last season and all of our ‘rivals’ have spent a considerable amount of money on transfers.

We haven’t extended any player contracts (ie Romero) and any player transfer links seem to have disappeared. If we don’t start getting a move on I really fear for the season ahead, Frank is not a miracle maker!

You really don’t have a clue about anything do you.

Red Sox finances have absolutely nothing to do with Liverpool’s. Two separate entities in two separate countries in two separate sports with two totally separate financial rules governing them.

Red Sox trading a player has the square root of fuck all to do with Liverpool financial constraints and spending. Liverpool have not needed any, whether internal or external funding in respect of their transfer spending.
