Well I'm not sure what it's got to do with us because he 100% would not be interested in a move here. From what I understand he had earmarked a move to Woolwich and had liverpool on his list but while both clubs were seriously interested they were less keen on his demands which were close to Saudi money expectations.

Yeah, I mean if they can't match his demands there's no way we are

If we hadn’t spunked 40mil on Tel …………
70+ mil on Tel & Odobert...130 mil if you add Richarlison...150 odd if we're counting the Spanish Beattle.

Let that sink in.

Quantity over quality. Nobody does it like Levy.

Ps: Brennan isn't blameless, but I'm fine with his pricetag considering he's scored circa 25 goals for us. Ditto Kulusevski.

Loaning out Kinsky would be stupid especially after selling Keeley.

Only other way would be If Luca Gunter is seen as competent enough. For one Austin won’t cut it. Gunter is in the trip - let’s see if he gets any game time at all
lot of pressure for Gunter to expect him to be 2nd/3rd choice after struggling a bit on loan in the national league. Imagine if Kinsky went on loan, we would do something like bring in a 35 year old HG backup keeper for a year

Henry, not unlike Kroenke move money between their business ownerships.

Sorry to piss on your fire mate.

Where do City get their billions from, between the cushions of Pep's sofa.

You fool.
Sorry
You are absolutely clueless with all respect to anything to do with finances (and based on almost every post Football, or soccer for you in General) Everything shows that.

City get their billions from “increased value on sponsorships” which is likely ultimately from their owners and face 130 charges from it.

Liverpool have zero cross sport funding, it is fully transparent in their accounts.

The only funding any club can have is average 35m losses outside of infrastructure per annum.
Any share capital increase and any loan is also not allowed for purposes of anything apart from Cashflow, they do not go towards profit just to clarify for you.

Sorry you really are out of your depth, in fact if you go wading more than a couple of centimetres out to sea, I expect you would be out of your depth.

Stick to glorified rounders and egg chasing with loads of padding on. Maybe you know more about them than this sport

So that’s why Forest threatened legal action ??

John Candy Reaction GIF
Yeah,

why would they threaten legal action if we didn't even trigger the release clause?

very strange.

Agree Bill.

None of us know anything about the deal, how long any negotiations lasted for, legal implications, and the total cost of a proposed transfer.

The whole saga was media driven and no doubt before the season starts the club will make an announcement clearing the media driven hype.
If Spurs had offered Forest a number they were happy with then Gibbs White would be a Spurs player.

Is that not a fact?

The fence is very crowded now by the way.

The obvious Levy fanbois are either absent or very quiet tonight but even I am surprised at who and how many 'regulars' are attempting to dress this up as anything other than failure.

Maybe as a Tottenham season ticket holder of nearly forty years, and after spending over twenty years working in the stock exchange in the City of London and New York i know more than someone who's experience comes from playing Football Manager.

Don't bother to reply, your time and my patience has passed.

We've spent more than most clubs in recent years. The issue isn't spending or not getting enough players in, it's aiming low and trying to get players on sub par wages.

If we always aim for players who will accept mid table wages, we will be mid table. It's that simple. We've spent more than every club aside from Chelsea, Woolwich and United in the past 5 years.

Start paying good players good wages and results will improve. It really is that simple.

I will reply.

Don’t fucking lie.
Anybody with your knowledge has zero experience of working in the financial districts of city of London or New York, except as maybe a cabbie or street vendor.

Perhaps the Forest evaluation wasn't merited an offer after the initial buy out clause was met?

I don't consider a rejected bid a failure, it's all about the valuation by both parties surely?

Allegedly Ath Madrid made an offer for Romero that was rejected, was that a failure, or did Madrid feel that their offer was their best?

Difficult to know as we don't have any facts.
