Player Mikey Moore

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

100% needs a loan - he wasn't ready last season and when he was on was pretty anonymous. Hes a child with plenty of time and room to develop.

Haha!!

Why is there such bad feeling between Aberdeen and Rangers? Does it go back to Fergie?

havent heard that there's similar between AFC and Celtic
Willie Johnston (Rangers) stamped on John McMaster's (Aberdeen) neck at Ibrox. The foul was so bad that McMaster had to be given help to aid breathing on the pitch, Johnstone was sent-off.

I think that's what started it all. Sometime around early 1980s.

Edit - There you go I found it.

Mikey Moore turns 18 on 11 August when he'll be able to sign a long term contract, before that he's limited by UK law to only signing 3 year professional contracts which his has only until 2027 to run.

I'd imagine Spurs will want him to sign a 5 year contract on 11 August, or at least agreed he will before the loan commences.

I'm in 2 minds on the loan - last season as a 17 year old he played about 800 minutes despite being ill for 2 - 3 months, which in terms of playing time was good. Sure he's not the finished article but I quite easily see, as an 18 year old, Mikey getting say 1,500 - 2,000 minutes (20 odd 90 min match equivalent) odd playing time at Spurs which would again be good for his development.

However it looks like he's going to be loaned to Rangers for the season - I hope refereeing standards have improved since Spurs youngster Nathan Oduwa was loaned to Rangers and was continually kicked off the pitch and had his confidence shattered, If he's allowed to play he should be able to get 2,500 to 3,000 minutes (circa 30+ games of 90 mins) under his belt with Rangers playing SPL, europe and Scottish domestic cups. And if he does he should come back to Spurs for 2026/27 a much more experienced player at age 19 able to command a starting place in many Spurs matches.

bloody hell, I've just read his roll call of shame. 20 red cards and some absolutely terrible behaviour.

I can't see why Rangers wouldve sold him unless they'd had enough of his behaviour. He'd just scored 2 in the CWC final FFS in a 3-2 win.

He moved to WBA who were absolute shite at the time and immediately got relegated. Youd have thought that far bigger clubs wouldve been wanting to buy him, but they must have been deterred by the baggage.

Before becoming a pro with Rangers he was a miner. Can think of several Scottish players who started down the mines. Jock Stein for one.

You quoted one post from a forum of which there are multiple, there's even been a thread posted with mostly positive messages, so yes, you're talking shite...again.

I'd far rather he stayed in England. An attacker with close control who dribbles a lot? You can just envisage a broken leg. Grizzled old pro in a 2 bit team late tackle after being given the run around for an hour.

Surely there's a ball playing team in the champo? Ipswich with Mckenna? Makes far more sense imo.

I just read this on a Ranger's forum, regarding the incident.

''He said in an interview, "I didn't mean to get McMaster, it was an accident, I thought it was Willie Miller." …. or something along those lines.''
