The problem is Real. They own 50% of the rights to the player and have some pretty favorable buy-back clauses inserted in the agreement with Como. Como is desperately trying to acquire 100% of the player's rights, but doesn't look like Real are willing to budge. Will be a really tough one, even if the player wants to join us.

Would be a complicated deal because Real Madrid owns 50% of his rights and has a buyback clause, plus he's very young and only really played one season, but he definitely turned heads and looks a big talent.

He’s not very polished or composed yet but he’s very young for a CF and producing good numbers. He’s well beyond what Daka ever was.

Sure but they could also tell us to go fuck ourselves.
Or they could say sure, take the player, but we retain the under-market buyback we had with Como, in which case we get all of the "still-learning 20 year old" with none of the "future superstar upside".
What I mean by "complicated" is quite specifically "having enough money is not the only factor".
