I don't mind this signing, its a loan meaning in theory we still have cash, annoyingly if its made permanent it will come out of next summers transfer kitty but cross that bridge when it comes.

He's experienced and when he was at Fulham felt like he was doing bits every week. Lets just hope he hasn't fallen off a cliff since joining Bayern he is 30 and operating in the engine room, that's my main concern.

We still badly need 2-3 more though and I think realistically we are going to end up with maybe 1.

Exciting signing, but I don't understand our transfer strategy.

MGW doesn't work, but we havent looked for any players like him (allegedly). We may frankly not need to with Sarr's latest performances.

So we sign a pure 6, which we did need.

But isn't our midfield crowded now?

6: palinha, biss, gray
8: bent, sarr, berg
10: Maddison, kulu,

Are we looking for 3 players in each midfield spot?

Ah welcome to the forum! You must be new here.

Let me introduce you to Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive , who is chief 'bitch and whiner'. Thinks he speaks for the masses, yet disappeared after our fantastic Europa League win. Will find absolutely any angle to complain and moan about the club.

Has a few nice graphs and graphics though. I'm sure he'll show you them if you support the club enough.

It depends how he rates our win v Woolwich as to when he next reappears to criticise the club, players and everything connected with Spurs.

Remember he disappeared for a full month after we won Europa League.

So if he hates Woolwich more he might not appear again for another month - but just as likely he supports Woolwich and for same reason will not appear for another month !

kulu can also cover RW tho, berg can cover all areas of midfield which is handy, biss is probably off and if hes going west ham we should try get paqueta to come the other way. midfield will be tidy then for a couple years.

I liked him before. But this is so cheap it makes a Mr Buyrite shirt with a button down collar seem worthy of a £5.99 multi buy purchase.

I think MGW was an opportunistic signing (well, near signing).

I think we have bigger priorities elsewhere, although the club were right to try for MGW because he's versatile and improves the first team.

No - Bissouma will go.

Gray and Bergvall count as u21 in PL and from 26/27 as List B not requiring registration.

Frank will need to manage their minutes though. Based on history Maddison will struggle to keep fit, and as chief creator we need him and/or Kuludsevski to be available for as many games as possible - hence Donley and Abbott on tour to cover both midfield and LB/FB

Transfer window has not closed so plenty of time for further changes to squad including midfield

Wouldn't have been my first choice, but Frank can probably still squeeze a couple of good seasons out of him in his system. Certainly adds some experience and 'grinta' to our midfield.

For the future we should look at players like Baleba and Wharton, but that's not gonna happen this window.
You are right Daniel is keeping his powder dry to buy Wharton for 100 million in January

My chairman 💪

If he’s here for extra experience off the bench to close out games like Hojberg, then fine.

Kick some cunts when we play Forest and Newcastle, fine.

If he’s stunting Sarr, Bergvall and Gray then it’s fucking dumb because we are never spending 30m on a 31 year old next summer
If Sarr gets benched for this herbert it's torches and pitchforks time.

Yeh, you a real geniuses, aren't ya.

God forbid the youngsters have some competitions.
Everyone knows that best way to actually help to bring up really classy players is to keep them in their little cute cribs and always solve any issue before they can start to come up with their own solution. And God forbid if there is any competition where they have to actually fight with anyone?!? Just clear the path, do everything for them. Pamper them and make sure they never stub a toe or anything. Making real fighters and heroes like that 💪

Man, it took years but we finally have a destroyer to replace Wanyama. He's not elite but he helps us put the years of square pegs in round holes behind us, and offers us the physicality and duel winning we haven't had since Vic.

He was the best DM in the league just a few seasons ago. Bayern bought him for 60m+ how is that a West Ham or Brentford signing (35 year old Henderson for comparison).

Seems like you are just complaining for the sake of it.
1) he was not the best DM in the league, that’s just utter bollocks.

2) Bayern did not sign him for 60 million plus.

The crew that just want to happy clap everything and refuse to be objective and analyse wouldn’t be as insufferable if you didn’t deny reality and stopped creating rose tinted narratives in your head that you try gaslight others into believing.

Competition great.

Picked first because ExPeRienCe is the shit we’ve seen before
