Shocking that he finds it hard to decide between Modric and Lampard!
First it was Zaha then Eze now Wharton.....things they have in common is that they've all played for Palace and they'll never play for us.You are right Daniel is keeping his powder dry to buy Wharton for 100 million in January

Only it will be the ref moving him on with assistance from stretcher bearers. Not if Lego Head standing on touchline outside his technical area as Lego Head may be interfering in play and probably should be sent off himself ! (eg Porro moving him on assisted by 4th official yesterday)
12 months ago it was a Bayern level signing.West Ham or Brentford level signing.
May as well be honest with ourselves and call it what it is.... Hugely uninspiring.
Nobody would have been surprised or batted an eyelid if he'd signed for either of them.
Exploiting an opportunity lingering in the left overs from the Kane / Bayern deal rather than aggressively signing the kind of quality we could and should be chasing.
Let's just hope he exceeds expectations.
Top Top Signing ???He is an amazing defensive midfielder. Huge and tall as well. Top top signing.
similar to the 75M bid for Geuhi last JanFirst it was Zaha then Eze now Wharton.....things they have in common is that they've all played for Palace and they'll never play for us.
This. Parker was class too and v effective for us conceding lessReminds me of the time we bought Terry Yorath who had a similar reputation. He really made a big difference and we conceded much less with him in the team. Concerned that he may get suspended but Romero has learned to avoid that and hopefully he can to playing for a better team than Fulham. Glad it is a loan and we really must only buy him if he makes a good impression as the 2nd season loan of Werner was ridiculous.
Now go out and spend the £60m on a creative player.
Mid table signing for a mid table team .
