This might sound a bit over the top but I am actually tearing up a bit reading this news.
He leaves a legend of the club, for all the quality talent Tottenham has had in my life time, from Waddle, Gasgoigne, Sheringham, Bale, Kane etc etc no World class player has shown this club more loyalty... he deserves a move to a club that can give him more game time in whatever remaining years he has as a player.
What a bloody shame but totally get this is the right time, immense player, some of his goals cutting in from the left planting them top bins have been some of my favourite moments ever. He’s in my top few spurs players for sure and he has been so loyal to us, proper spurs, he gets it! He will be sorely missed! Thank you for the memories Sonny.
