Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He is a striker who has at his best season scored 14 goals. In Bundesliga (!) . And have shown no progress across past 12 months. He is absurdly overrated. Another Hojlund.

You are literally melting at well-known money burning machine doing their thing. So wasting money once more.
You look absolutely hysterical and pathetic and sad.

If you want to talk about clubs addressing their issues and be scared (which is weird thing on itself but still 10x less weird) about them improving - I would understand if you'd talk about Woolwich getting Gyokeres and Zubimendi. Or Liverpool and their recruits. Or Shitty bringing in number of players.

But no, you melt over Man fucking United who as I already pointed out have managed to burn quarter billion of buying shit forwards and continues to do so. Hope you get kick out of it though. Weird kink but still.

P.S - did you notice - at no point did I mention that I'd be happy with what we have done or praising anyone or smth. Just it is soooooooooo fucking random and laughable to act hysterical about ManU spending spree.
I mean it could work out, their recruitment operation is being run by different people than the Hojlund days, their acquisitions last summer were decent-ish, they seem to be targeting the right positions at least, and IF this all comes good it will look very impressive in retrospect.

But yeah, until further notice that's a club I just have a lot of trouble taking seriously. Assuming every big move they make will be a disaster has been a safe assumption for years.

I don't want to get anyone too excited but we're on course to SMASH through the 2003 pages in last years Summer transfer thread.

Could we even see a record-breaking 2890 pages, leaving 2023's thread in the dust?
It's incredible!! Top effort everyone. Oh by the way Im sorry about the impotence issue. Hope you're getting help..........OH! Omni!

The only person melting and being hysterical is you, clearly.

Manure finished 15th and didn't win anything and are showing the sort of intention and commitment we should be, with the season starting in under 2 weeks.

That's the main point.

It's embarrassing; like you.

Just to put a marker down here:

If Bissouma is off as has been recently reported, and Vuskovic goes on loan, with the assumption that Takai would be odd man out, we can name a UEFA squad that gets everybody in including both Kinsky and Kulusevski.

But that wouldn't incorporate the Maddison replacement that's sure to come, someone beyond Takai will have to go to make room.

With the club-trained situation and loaning out all of our usable kids, we have committed to a 21-man squad for the CL. That’s going to be a tight squeeze any way you slice it.

That's a fair comment in recent times, but you have to consider that a poster was barely visible when we won the Europa and indeed sought cover under a new name in order to post their unfiltered agenda.
Granted and though the bitching does often (the repetitiveness in particular) grate and test patience it is merely a byproduct of the fickleness of fans which reacts to what happens on the pitch and this case the TW tuckshop.

It is beyond parody for fans to be singing Utd’s praises.

Many fans just want to win the transfer window. They care about how the transfer window makes them feel more than what happens on a Saturday afternoon.

Seems the recruitment team have been red pilled by the Ange PL disaster to thinking we only need players with previous PL experience. Just sign some talented players who have skills the team’s lacking - ie creative passing.

Why would they still be listening to Ange??

They fired him

Anyway, he asked for CL experience not premier league and he didn’t say age was a factor, just experience

It's a mad window from them after screaming poverty and sacking off the Europa league barbeque along with a bunch of non playing staff. Be interested to see how the rest of the window goes for them, they've gone full FIFA so far with attackers but watching them last year play us 4 times they've still got Onana, Deligt, Dorgu, Dallot, Maguire, Mason Mount and Ugarte as starters for them this coming season and as much as we've got weak spots in the squad they aren't that.
Dalot is a good player. Dorgu & Ugarte - and let's not forget Yoro - will get better under Amorim. They need better than Onana, Maguire, De Ligt, Casemiro and Mount as far as older heads are concerned.

If they somehow managed to get Donnarumma, a Guehi type CB and someone like Barella/Ederson/Hjulmand at CM...they would be way ahead of us on paper. Wouldn't even be surprised if Amorim tried to bring McTominay home after the season he had at Napoli.
