Seeing Madders has done his ACL is it worth registering him this season?
Nightmare for him....and us. I hope i'm wrong but he'll be 30 in November and when he comes back wouldnt have played competitive football in 13/14 months. Given other injuries over the last few years i dont see him ever being back at the top level, certainly not as a regular starter. We have to start planning without him. Unpleasent though it is we know its a place freed up in the CL squad so no excuses. (they'll be excuses). Whatever you think of them last season no Son and no Madders is a lot of goal involvements out the team.
Before xmas; absolutely not.
Hopefully we replace him with a relatively unknown player who had underwhelming stats in a relegated team

If that is honestly the answer to our number 10 issues, to go out and sign someone for 20 million, it really says it all about our ambitions. Utterly pathetic and embarassing.

This kind of shit never seems to happen to the important players in a few clubs I could mention, but for us, our players are consistently out injured. I know it's a lot of luck, but when do we have a season without a pile of injuries?
