Obviously not, lol. City don’t let go of players after a season if they’re that good. He scored a single premier league goal!

He is exciting and gets fans going though which is nice alongside Kudus. We would at least be building a team with players who can make opponents uneasy and keep the fans from falling asleep. And technically he ups our floor a good bit.

He can’t shoot though. Like genuinely horrendous at it so he would piss people off.
"Thomas Frank indicated Savinho as ideal player."

Yeah, on Aug 11th. And when we need a LB, LCB, AM and CF far more than we do a new (young, unproven, big club reject) winger.

He’s basically the anti Johnson. Can dribble, take on and beat his man and cross but his finishing and goal scoring is poor.

Another winger though definitely makes me wonder if we might do something about Johnson.

Would be an excellent get. Smart clubs buy a Savinho. Dumb clubs loan Grealish. City don’t want Savinho to leave (however Peop never stands in anybody’s way), they want Grealish off the books ASAP.

Our biggest weaknesses were the technical level of our attackers and passers from deep midfield. If we get Savinho and El Khannouss, That solves problem 1.

Sounds like this will be a record fee for us?

This guy has bundles of skill and dribbling ability.

Our attack has just gone to a new level if this gets done.

Still need a number 10 but this is like a proper Son replacement.

Just looking at the sum total at the bottom of the Transfermarkt page is not an accurate way to collate a player's minutes and contributions, 12 of Tel's goals in that summary were scored playing U19 football.

Ok Savhino is waaaay better and has amazing stats on everything...... Despite not being much between them for their last two clubs.

You ignored the rest of the post where in the end I said they're not really comparable if they're not playing in the same position and one is going to hopefully be a provider and the other hopefully a finisher going forward.

And that Savhino as a provider of chances would be exactly what we need.

Okay.

Some fans trying to talk themselves into McAtee being a good signing who at 22 has made 48 premier League appearances for a total of 2,200 mins so he has played equivalent of 24 full 90 minute games in PL. He might turn out to be a good player but he sure as shit ain't the player we need in our current position
I'm pretty sure people are just seeing Palmer do so well at the Chavs and hoping its the same for McAtee, personally I wasn't against the gamble before , but if we are expecting him to come straight into the starting 11 and have an impact thats madness and not for £40 million either. £25 million as a squad player then maybe

I hope not, we need a "passer" in the #10 role to link the defence/CM with the attack and Odobert and Savinho aren't that type of player.

This would be a good signing if we also got a #10 and moved Johnson on IMO.
Moved Johnson on?!

How about we cut Tel and/or Odobert, two players who've done fuck all for us as opposed to a kid who, though limited, has scored plenty goals and got a decent number of assists?

Chelsea and Woolwich are still looking for left wingers and Savinho is better on the left according to stats so we will have to be quick if we want him

Brennan has to stay around for at least another year, until a reliable goal contributor emerges from Savinho/Odobert/Tel IMO
And how much of BJ's goals came from the fact that Ange's shitty system was set up for him to get on the end of things at the expense of our general play.

I don't see that under Frank. We require our wingers to be reliable outballs and to make things happen on their own. Kudus and Savinho do this. Odobert has potential to get there eventually.

I think Johnson gets exposed under Frank and becomes a bit part player very quickly.
