IMO I think it's a bit of an over statement still. We looked more cohesive and wanted more. If PSG have a higher level of fitness from a longer period of pre season, their quicker movements could definitely hurt us. But I do think our shape adjustment during defence and offence have been commendable. Long may this continue.
Completely different setup. We are playing with 11 warriors and 5 in defence, not carrying players like Brennan.

In that first half, Spence went up against the worlds best full back and fancied himself. He's got real personality. Think his ability to fill in on both sides means he'll have a really big season.

Bayern was in a way the perfect game to have before this. A similar team to PSG in how they want to dominate and control. So it was a good test where they could see what works and what doesn't.
