I don't think the subs were the mistake. Richie and Kudus were tired and needed replacing but we need much better from the bench

I think had this been a REALLY serious trophy, Frank doesn't make anywhere near as many changes as he did. Taking Palhinha and Kudus off lost us our bite in the middle of the park, their subs were just of a higher quality than ours.
Gutted to lose, more because of the bragging rights than anything else, but we've just gone toe to toe with arguably the best team in the World and, for the vast majority of the match, were the better side.
Onwards and upwards. Despite the loss, there's an awful lot to be positive about after that.
It was a decent training exercise or whatever, our guys put a good shift in, will have learned a few things, but that was not a real opponent. Win or lose that's just the fact.
Now, had we stolen a trophy thanks to the fraud of this game being played despite the CWC and PSG not having any training I would not have apologized one bit, nor should any of us have, but the circumstances are what they are.
Burnley presents an immeasurably tougher challenge than the get-to-know-you session PSG could muster in 6 days and zero games of preseason. Joke that the game went forward but that's modern football.

When you are up 2-0 with 20 minutes left, I think we should try to keep the ball. I understand not being too aggressive to avoid conceding on a counter, but giving them the ball and chance after chance is asking for a disaster.
