Match Super Cup Final - Spurs vs PSG, Weds 13th Aug, 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I won't remember this game in a few weeks, I can't remember who won it last year or the year before that. What matters is we've actually got a shape again. But the difference between bringing on players like Ramos and Ruiz to 3 teenagers cannot be ignored, if we want to compete in multiple competitions

Hate to say it but that was Spursy. Might be a very long time we play in a super cup again. Bad substitutions and way too defensive last 20 minutes. Im gutted tbh but not surprised tbh. Failed two tests now against top champions league sides in the last week. Way too early to say but thats a slight chink in armour for Frank tonight.
It’s the depth that killed us as well , it annoys the fuck out of me though that we can’t just hold on to a 2-0 lead , cunts like tel jogging around , ffs we could have had another cup tonight had we signed Eze and Savio.

I’m gutted. When you play well and lose, it’s harsh.

I’ve got no complaints about the performance, we looked brilliant.

Unfortunately, our strength in depth cost us, but the potential is there.

There’s plenty to be positive about

Levy, get your cheque book out!
Said exactly this to my old man. What it's shown is that just a bit of extra quality and we can compete this season. I think had this been a REALLY serious trophy, Frank doesn't make anywhere near as many changes as he did. Taking Palhinha and Kudus off lost us our bite in the middle of the park, their subs were just of a higher quality than ours.

Gutted to lose, more because of the bragging rights than anything else, but we've just gone toe to toe with arguably the best team in the World and, for the vast majority of the match, were the better side.

Onwards and upwards. Despite the loss, there's an awful lot to be positive about after that.

Come on mate

New formation, looked good defensively against last seasons best team in the world

Set pieces, against top teams in the prem we will get somethinh rather than getting pumped
It was a decent training exercise or whatever, our guys put a good shift in, will have learned a few things, but that was not a real opponent. Win or lose that's just the fact.

Now, had we stolen a trophy thanks to the fraud of this game being played despite the CWC and PSG not having any training I would not have apologized one bit, nor should any of us have, but the circumstances are what they are.

Burnley presents an immeasurably tougher challenge than the get-to-know-you session PSG could muster in 6 days and zero games of preseason. Joke that the game went forward but that's modern football.

Poor subs from Frank. Completely changed the game and gave PSG an easy route back... had nobody to hold on to the ball. Gutted and right now I'm taking nothing from this game despite the commentators and analysts pitying us with bollocks about us taking a lot from the game. Bullshit. We bottled it. Frank bottled it. End of.
Don't think he had much choice.

Palhinha still getting up to speed and he, Richy, Sarr and Kudus worked their nuts off for us.

Don't think Johnson or Odobert make a difference. We don't have attacking depth.

That's where your going wrong, listening to cunts on TNT or the media in general chat shit

Your football experience will be a lot better if you don't listen to that

When you are up 2-0 with 20 minutes left, I think we should try to keep the ball. I understand not being too aggressive to avoid conceding on a counter, but giving them the ball and chance after chance is asking for a disaster.
