All the talk of negotiations with city for Savinho seem to have gone cold. Sounds like we're focusing on Eze. Wonder if we'll go for both or just play Eze in the drifting lwf role he plays for Palace?

Imagine the smell of boiled piss on here with him and BJ touching the ball 10 times a match between them and both ending up on 30 goals each. 😂

Bit of late night browsing, Palace forums.

They are understandably upset to be losing him but quite a few of them actually think he's not all that, and could be replaced...
It was a strange season for Eze, if you tuned in towards the end of the season you would wonder why there isn't a mile-long queue of top clubs vying for his services. The reality is he had a very mixed season. At one point there were even questions over whether he should be starting so limited was his contribution.
I think his lack of consistency means Spurs is about his ceiling.

As much as I love Eze, I can’t see any of the bigger clubs putting up with a player who goes missing in a big percentage of games and is a non-factor out of possession.
Eze is shite out of possession. Anyone who’s watched us play regularly over the last two years would struggle to disagree with that.

A world class talent with the ball. Below average without.
Question I have is that Eze is 27 now and let’s be honest up until the last couple months of last season he was average at best - so is it time to cash in..??
He shows up for maybe 30% of games and that is 30% of the uninjured portion of his season. Great player, yes, exciting to watch, yes, frustrating as hell, yes, replaceable, definitely.

Scorned lovers.

It’s all about what TF can do with him., not what he’s done before. Guy is gonna blow it apart for spurs, just look at Kudus so far.
We’re not Palace and we’re deffo not the pikeys. We’re spurs, different gravy entirely. Just watch these guys flourish in our club with all our fans on it n the stadium. Cant fucking wait to see what they can do.
