not confident on this Eze deal personally. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve told him he’s not going, same with Guehi they both looked piseed off after the game. Then Glasner saying don’t believe everything you read in the media, and that they are in control now that the clause has passed. They could have been stringing everyone along while the clause was open. Wouldn’t hold it against Palace they should give it a good go in Europe. If we were serious we should of triggered the clause

But the process we endure is a frustrating one when it comes to Levy.
Yes he has a responsibility to secure the best possible deal for the Club but sometimes the needs of the team should supercede the financial aspects - to a degree, and within reason of course.
I think most fans always feel that Levy can lose sight of the bigger picture because he's so bogged down in the Financial minutia and coming out on top in terms of the deal.
It just feels like we're never proactive enough in doing what we need to do.
That said, if we get Eze and Sav in he has some credit in the bank with me....that'd be some window.
I don't know if that's true, but they'll just find another reason to moan about Levy anyway.
If we don't win the double it'll be because MGW was missed and Eze+Savinho missed preseason and we needed a RB too and whatever else.
I don't think the die hard LevyOut-ers hope for our failure - I just think they'll be unwilling to change their opinion even if we won the treble, will move the goalposts and find a new complaint.
Same for some who defend Levy (though the degree to which some do support him is often exaggerated).

Most of the complaints about Levy should realistically be leveled at Lewis.
Levy is the face, but he doesn't control the financial environment he works within. And knowing that Lewis has fuck all interest in the football and isn't investing his own money would only make Levy more focused and maximizing every £ he can chisel away.
